Highly recommend for drink, food and to stay!
Pros:

lovely place, stayed 3 times now while visiting family in the area. The service is always great, food is delicious and rooms are very comfortable and spotless.

Cons:

There isn't a huge amount of parking available on site, lots of people tend to park on the road. However, we've always managed to get a space in the carpark.

Comfortable room and great customer service
Pros:

Room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. Coffee machine was brilliant. There was an Alexa available which you could connect to also. I ate in the restaurant in the evening which was fabulous.

Cons:

There was a bad drain smell in the shower but when the bathroom door was closed it was minimal.

A Superb Stay from start to finish
Pros:

I have stayed in many hotels across the world including places like the Savoy but I don’t think I have ever stayed in a better laid out suite where every need had been pre-empted including completely effective electronic blinds for black out, a shoe horn and a corkscrew. The decor was exceptionally tasteful and despite the popularity of the pub we were completely insulated from all noise. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious and I very much appreciated having a double bath and separate shower rarely afforded by others. The menu was extensive, breakfast sublime and the Half Board discount fantastic value for money. The staff were professional and we enjoyed a lovely welcome throughout and a fabulous anniversary weekend in glorious countryside.

Cons:

There was nothing that I didn’t like but if there was one improvement it would be to have the toilet roll higher and to use a silicone toilet brush which are easier to clean and kept looking pristine which would have been more in keeping with the ambience of the room.
