The Deluxe King Suite has a charge for use of the sofa bed and if this room is booked on a Bed and Breakfast or Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate, it doesn't include meals for those using the sofa bed, these meals must be purchased seperately.

We stayed here for one night of our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! The team was extremely nice and kind and! We LOVED the restaurant for dining and breakfast! Also, a big thanks for giving us the biggest room!
It feels like a family hotel! We loved it!
The room was very clean and comfortable. Food was great, and staff very friendly. Despite the rooms being above a very popular pub, it was very quiet in the room.
Parking is limited and I had to park on the roadside for a while, but plenty of spaces when the pub closed. Would have been helpful to know this.

Toilet sometimes did not flush, but understandable as graded building
The 2 nights we stayed were really pleasant. We had lunch on the second day and the food was delicious. Everyone is so friendly and very welcoming. Our room was very clean and having a fridge was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay again and we recommend this highly.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was phenomenal; so much food and choice!! Cereals, fruit juice, cooked breakfast, continential breakfast and coffees - all in with the room price and it was good quality. I'm gluten intolerant too, and it wasn't a problem - still a great choice of food. I will definitely go there again!
There wasn't anything not to like! Setting was stunning with beautiful walks just outside the door. I absolutely loved it!
The staff from reception to kitchen to bar to housekeeping were all most welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms and public areas were all immaculate and the food was excellent. The overall feeling was of a staff who got on well together to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the property.

Food good, room clean and convenient
A little bit tucked away, but within easy reach of both Sheffield and Chesterfield. A wonderful country pub atmosphere, with an excellent restaurant. The staff were all extremely friendly and eager to please, and the bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean with modern fittings. The beds were comfortable and there were nice touches, such as fresh milk in a small fridge and home made shortbread biscuits. Breakfast was plentiful and of great quality, and the evening meal had plenty of choice and was well cooked - the usual gastropub type of menu.

Incredible value for money, even before the deal we managed to get. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive, the food was sublime with great portion sizes. Lovely quiet location with ample parking available. The rooms were spotless with everything that you could need.
There was nothing not to like!
