You labeled it for excellent breakfast .. not so … no eggs at all for breakfast
Not very much.
I want to make this as short as possible. After unloading and setting up our room for our stay the bathroom door got jammed and locked us out with all of our toiletries clothes medication and belongings. They could not get a hold of the maintenance staff member to open the door. They moved us to a room that was smaller with the shower in the room. As we were traveling with our granddaughter this was extremely inappropriate and not practical. We had to take turns in the room showering while the others waited in the lobby. We had to take our granddaughter to Camp the next day without the clothes she was supposed to wear her medication or any of her toiletries. We had to go to the store and buy extra just to get her through the day. After complaining multiple times about the shower they finally found us another room so we had to move rooms again this was the third move and not even 24 hours and it was a smaller room. They could not get a maintenance staff member there until very late that night this was already 24 hours without our medication and belongings. After multiple room changes speaking to staff members and management the best they can do to compensate us for this was offer us 10% off one night. This was completely unacceptable we will never stay at one of their facilities again
Comfortable rooms and spacious and breakfast included
That Im still waiting for my deposits to go back on my cards from July 19th-21st. No manager on site I have called numerous times and no call back..
It was quiet.
Run down outdated on the inside and out. Nothing worked jacuzzi the ice machine the laundry and no baked cookies. Also bee's all over the pool area a lot of them kids were scared in the pool. Nothing like it was five six years ago the hotel it's horrible now..

i love everything about the property it’s self. the front desk leslie was amazing. knowledgeable and helpful.
the male night til front desk was extremely rude. he chased my sister who was staying with me down up the elevators telling her she needed to leave. when my cousin who came to visit and i came up he screamed at me that we all needed to leave visitors were not allowed. he was screaming and yelling, multiple ppl from other rooms came out. he told us we need to leave right away. i only come to bakersfield twice a year so i was put out in the middle of the night/early morning for my stay, never got
to enjoy my stay and leisure and missed out on a lot because of him. i hear this is more then one time
and he’s in upper management so i will be in touch with corporate
Breakfast well done, EXCEPT Coffee was COLD, def not acceptable. Interior room was clean , updated, strong AC helpful during 100 degree plus summer night, gated parking, had a pool which is better than no pool.
Front desk man at arrival - unkind, uncaring, hard to understand. NO STAIR ACCESS unless one walked the length of a football field down a LOOOOONNG VERY CREEPY fully enclosed CORRIDOR. For people who avoid elevators where at all possible, having no stair access near the reception area is UNACCEPTABLE and AGAINST FIRE CODE! Elevator SUPER SLOOOW. But the absolute WORST THING about this hotel is the room we got. Both windows were OPAQUED out with some kind of white FILM ADHESIVE that rendered NO CLARITY, NO VIEW out the window, in other words, it was like being in a box with no view of outside. Windows also LOCKED, UNABLE TO OPEN!!!! However one of the windows was able to be budged a few inches only to see a dumpsite down below, trash, debris, dilapidated shelter and structures on dirt. Front Desk LIED to me when i said I needed a new room with clear windows, stating hotel full! IMPOSSIBLE! This hotel has about 20-30 rooms a floor, and 3 floors, in the most dirtbag part of Bakersfield, in no ones imagination was this hotel full. Front desk also LIED that ALL ROOMS had the same white film preventing view of outside. When we left I studied the outside window of the building to find all the rooms had clear windows! I asked guests at breakfast and they all confirmed they could see out the windows. Being in a room with no window to see out of, and locked closed windows was nothing less than being in a room with 4 full walls, like a prison. I became SEVERELY PANIC STRICKEN and told Front Desk guy, who lied that hotel was full and would not change my room. UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE! Could not sleep for hours and once I did when I awoke during night my body went into horrific anxiety panic. It was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!
I regret not taking pictures of the opaqued-out windows and junkyard seen through crack of one cracked window. I did take pictures of creepy hallway with stair access only on the farthest end of corridor. Who wants to walk down this?!
