Group T&Cs : When booking 3 rooms or more or reservation of over 5 nights , different policies will apply and the customer will be contacted by the hotel with more information. 10% Non-Refundable Deposit is to be paid within 5 days of the reservation date. The balance to be paid 60 days prior to arrival. If the above payment terms are not met , The hotel reserves the right to cancel of the booking.
A card will be required on check in for payment. If the card will not be present at check in then please contact the hotel to arrange payment in advance.
A valid credit card or cash deposit is required to confirm a booking. Credit cards will be charged 48 hours prior to arrival and bookings made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged upon booking. In the event of a no show or late cancellation, the hotel will charge the first night rate to the credit card used as guarantee. Should the card decline, we also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking.
All guests who do not arrive on their scheduled date of arrival are considered No-Shows.
Once a room is released due to a no-show, there is no obligation to hold it for subsequent nights.
If a guest arrives the following day, the booking may be reinstated at management discretion.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

The property was in a good location, 10 min walk into the town. Staff were very friendly helpful.
I didn’t like the hotels obsession with no smoking. It was reiterated to me at least 4 times while checking in. I even had to sign to say I understood it was no smoking hotel with a €150 fine if breached. When we got to the room there was another NO SMOKING sign placed on the bed. No smoking indoors in hotels & pubs etc is enforce since 2004. I DONT EVEN SMOKE !!! and I found it a bit annoying. One other thing was the pillows were as flat as pancakes & not comfortable to sleep on.

1st bedroom lights not working & TV went off.
Moved to another room, much smaller with non working fan in bathroom and disgustingly rusty shower curtain rail. Dubious choice of pictures on wall in both rooms.
The staff was nice and the bed was comfortable
The hotel overall wasn’t clean. Carpet in lounge area and breakfast area needs a shampoo. The ironing board was broken, a glass in the bathroom was chipped, and the soap dispenser at the sink didn’t dispense. Our room was very warm. No airflow. And birds outside our windows so we couldn’t open them. Very uncomfortable to sleep.

The Talbot Hotel is a solid mid-range hotel with a lot of modern touches. There's an elevator, a nice bar where we had both dinner and breakfast, and plenty of parking on site. It's also just a few minutes' drive from several supermarkets, which was convenient.
Reception and staff were quick, friendly, and easy to work with throughout our stay.
Overall a comfortable, well-run stay.
One thing to keep in mind: there's no air conditioning, which can be an issue during a heat wave. That said, the rooms are big and the windows open, and the hotel also provides small fans, which helped.

I cannot have an opinion for the rest of the room in the hotel, but we were given a room (SUITE) that exceeded all our expectations and any other accommodation we have ever stayed in. The decoration, the size, the luxury, the ammenities where to die for. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious, and also ordered a pizza at midnight that was delivered to our room. Dream stay!

Early check-in process challenging and disorganised. Made sure to charge, but not to honour the early check-in as arranged and confirmed in advance. We were charged a extra €20 for early checkin, but seemingly a major inconvenience for the staff and we had to wait far too long for the room. Our timings were key as we were attending a wedding. Rude cleaning staff, and an unhelpful front desk.
Facilities not great, no fridge, no water or any extras of any description. Lift requires upgrade and room itself needs refresh / refurbishment.
Friendly staff, comfortable clean room. Dinner in the bar was very good. Flying one night visit, didn't use the leisure centre or have breakfast although both were an option.

They didn't have a wheelchair available to help someone to be moved quickly from a room to a car.
Really friendly staff, comfortable beds, family room had plenty of space. Quiet area but close to shops and restaurants.
Slightly more competitive pricing as it was quite an expensive treat. Breakfast included with family room.
La stanza era molto grande e pulita, anche il bagno. Personale gentilissimo e attento. Posizione ottima, grande parcheggio.
La spa e la piscina lasciavano molto a desiderare, datate e da rimodernare, non c’era un appendino o qualcosa su cui poter lasciare l’asciugamano, pieno di bambini anche nella jacuzzi. Nella stanza non c’era possibilità di asciugare nulla, né una stufetta, né un termoarredo nel bagno.
