I come to the hotel for the staff and nice rooms . Velronica has always been so nice and helpful makes you wanna come back to this hotel .
Our check in went great, we got there at 2am and Dominique at the front desk was amazing and helpful. Overall the experience was great and definitely recommend.
Freeway access was easy
Poor cleanliness.
Water bottle in room had been previously opened and then refilled (the cap was not sealed)
There were insects in our room.
We ask someone to clean up the room but no one can come.
So we used a spray by ourselves.

I travel all across the country for work and met plenty of people during my stays with Hilton brand hotels. The receptionist (Dominique) was by far the most helpful and most friendly person I’ve met during my travels. Will be booking this hotel any time I’m in the area thanks to her!
Room service and customer service was perfect. Everytime I called the front desk they would answer with immediate care. The rooms were always clean (housekeeping did a great job)! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the east bay!
Location...shopping resturants outside of hotel.
(1) The shower system not user friendly for short people. Need to be updated!
(2) leaving hotel: signs should be upated, hard to see that you're entering a one way street when leaving Hotel ....very dangerous! More signs to indicate where entering and leaving.
Enjoyed the kitchen. They got some real good specials during dinner. Unfortunately no more shuttle to the airport and the location is centralized and putting a few establishments near by. In-N-Out, Mexican Restaurants and Japanese teriyaki bowls just around the corner. You could definitely walk it, but I'd walk due to high traffic.

The Hilton Garden Inn San Leandro was exactly what I needed for my trip — clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The room was nice, the amenities were solid, and everything worked the way it should. Honestly, the hotel on its own would’ve earned a perfectly good review.
But Melissa at the front desk is the whole reason this is getting a full five stars — and honestly, she deserves ten.
From the moment I walked in, she set the tone with her warm welcome and easygoing attitude. She wasn’t just doing the usual check-in spiel; she genuinely made me feel like she cared about my stay. She was patient with questions, quick with helpful suggestions, and just had this calm, professional energy that instantly put me at ease after a long day.
What stood out most was how personal she made everything. Nothing felt rushed or transactional. She remembered details, followed up, and actually took the time to talk like a real human being — which sounds simple, but it’s incredibly rare these days. We really can’t afford to lose the kind of personalized service she provides. People like Melissa are the difference between a hotel you stay at once and a hotel you return to.
Huge shoutout to Melissa — she’s truly the highlight of this property. The hotel was good, but her service made the experience exceptional. I’ll definitely be back thanks to her.
I always visit this area for business and stay here all the time. They have very nice breakfast options to order of the menu. Staffs are quick and responsive. Rooms are clean and efficient.
