This entire hotel was garbage. The only thing we liked was free breakfast, even though they didn't have any drink. Also the location was a great spot, located right in the middle of kingsville.
The staff didn't know how to do their job. There was a hole in the floor, the remotes didn't work and they didn't even have any batteries to replace them. The towels and washcloths were dirty and had holes in them but we got blamed and charged for there inability to clean. There was no juice available for the complimentary breakfast and we almost got stuck on the elevator. This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at.
Nothing, they did not provide the room I reserved and the room they tried to get us to stay in was not a handicap accessible room. Did not feel like we could safely use the bathroom facilities without having issues. Asked for another room that was ADA handicap and nothing was provided or available. Asked for refund and now we are having to struggle to get any satisfaction. Will not stay here ever again and not impressed with thier company.
See the above details and you will see that we didn't like anything.
Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was the normal breakfast.
This hotel is old. Very clean but old. I wouldn't want to stay more than a night. If I had to stay in Pineville again I think I would choose the Holiday Inn down the street.
Close to where I was working
Everyone was good
The location to where I was needing to go.
That the only place to sit were either on the bed or in a very uncomfortable, untrustworthy desk chair.
After reaching out to Rebecca, I expressed my concerns respectfully, which led to her offering a more suitable queen suite and addressing the workers regarding their language. This situation exemplifies how constructive feedback can lead to positive change when delivered with kindness and respect.
While Christians are generally encouraged to refrain from a spirit of complaining and to approach life with a positive attitude, there are circumstances where providing constructive feedback is essential. The biblical directive from Philippians 2:14 to "do all things without grumbling" should not prevent individuals from addressing issues that require attention, especially in service-oriented settings. In this case, the initial experience at check-in was less than satisfactory, with the guest service representative informing me that my room would not be available until 3 PM due to cleaning delays. While waiting, I observed that another guest was able to check in without issue. This situation raised questions about the efficiency of the hotel’s operations and highlighted the importance of clear communication and transparency with guests.
When I interacted with the hotel manager, Rebecca, I aimed to maintain a spirit of grace-filled communication. After providing my cash deposit, I hoped for immediate acknowledgment through a receipt, which is a standard expectation in such transactions. However, my experience was marred by a lack of attentiveness, and when I entered my designated room, I encountered another layer of concern. The area was cluttered with construction materials, including a rug that posed a tripping hazard and buckets of paint in the aisle. Additionally, the workers were using language that was inappropriate and uncomfortable for me as a Christian woman. After reaching out to Rebecca, I expressed my concerns respectfully, which led to her offering a more suitable queen suite and addressing the workers regarding their language. This situation exemplifies how constructive feedback can lead to positive change when delivered with kindness and respect.
Upon checking out, however, the interaction with the blonde receptionist left much to be desired.
I liked the shower the best 👌
I didn't like beds or how the tvs dont have much channels to watch
The cleanness
Staff and cleanness
The breakfast was very good. Wish there'd been a milk dispenser instead of a gallon. No biggie. All tasted good, good. Thank you
Wish the metal footboards on the bed didn't clang, but all the important things were great.
Na
Shower wasn't quite fully functional.
Bed was super comfortable
Found hair on the bathroom wall
The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean.
There was a lot of construction on the road. The property was on so it was a little trouble getting in and out.
