Super 8 by Wyndham Huntsville

This is a former Super 8, now (somewhat) transformed. Our first-floor room was clean enough (except for the random hair my husband found in the bathtub), and had a mini-fridge and microwave. We liked that the sink was separate from the bathroom. The bed was pretty comfortable. However... late afternoon, we heard someone repeatedly inserting their keycard into our door. When it didn't open (because we had it latched), the person banged on the door. My husband told the person that they had the wrong room, but they were quite insistent that they had been assigned to 110. He told them to go talk to the front desk, because we were already in the room, and it did finally get sorted out. There was also a large group of very-inconsiderate young adult guests who were making a lot of noise with loud conversation and much running in the hallway and up & down the stairs. They finally quieted down around 10:30pm, but we had gone to bed much earlier because we wanted to get an early start the next morning. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was meh. We were glad to see some hot food and some protein (scrambled eggs, and sausages), but the eggs were the reconstituted powdered kind, and the sausages were greasy. The in-room coffeemaker produced some of the worst coffee I have ever tasted, so I didn't even try the coffee in the breakfast room because my stomach was already a bit uneasy. We were only there for one night, so it was (marginally) OK, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.

Location and cleanliness

Everything looked very nice and clean and staff was very nice and helpful

Breakfast was great, but could use an occasional change up. Same thing everyday, for someone who stays several days, gets old.

i don't have anything BUT positive things to say about this hotel! the pool is amazing! staff is warm and receptive! was amazed by how very quiet and low key the entire property was ! the rooms were impeccably clean and the breakfast was wonderful! the beds are comfortable and the fridge is very convenient! i have been there 3 times now and i will be staying there every time i come back to town! RATES are unbeatable and its WELL worth the $$$ for the stay! highly recommended! well done you guys! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

It was very clean. The staff was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

As always, excellent staff, facilities very clean, beds are SOOOO soft and comfy! Best sleep ever! Everyone knows Texas heat and humidity are harsh sometimes, but not in rooms! Between a soft comfortable bed and cool cozy room, sleep never came so quickly! My "go to" hotel for my visits to Huntsville!

It's been a great stay as usual! The staff and hotel is by far the best! Helpful and accommodating, staff who go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed!

As always, excellent staff and great facilities! Definitely, this hotel will be my home away from on all my visits to Huntsville!
