1 night in Sandman Surrey
Pros:

Stayed in Penthouse 1 and it was a nice bright room with good views. Good facilities in the room like wash/dryer, full kitchen.
The Indian kitchen is really nice that’s in the same building, staff are really friendly.

Cons:

The sofa in the living room is very uncomfortable and rock hard. Despite it being new this needs to be better for relaxing.
The restaurant next door albeit is lovely but unfortunately the whole hotel smells strongly of the restaurant below,

Great.
Pros:

Staff were great and very helpful. The room had everything I needed. Having the kitchen made a big difference. Location was great, close to Guilford shopping mall and lots of shops and restaurants. Overall, great stay.

Great staycation
Pros:

My family and I had a pleasant stay overall and really appreciated the great location. We were upgraded upon arrival, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The lobby and rooms are newly renovated, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
However, the bathroom and towels had a noticeable smoke odor, which was a bit disappointing. As we had already settled in late in the evening, we didn’t inform the front desk at the time.
That said, the front desk team truly made a difference in our experience. Divanshi and Prosper were incredibly kind, approachable, and attentive to detail. Despite this minor issue, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Pros:

Everything! The staff were really nice, the room was awesome and very clean. I don't know if we got a free upgrade, but I think we must have because our room had a separate living room and a kitchen. This was the best place we stayed in our travels in BC. Would definitely stay there again. Plus, this location was very central to a lot of other places in the metro area.

Cons:

Just a couple of small suggestions.... The wifi was slow and the shampoo and body wash (I think they were the same thing) had a really strong chemical fragrance, like bad cologne. They'd be better fragrance-free or something way more mild smelling and more natural. (The conditioner smelled ok.)

Pros:

Staff were friendly, and responsive. The suite was spacious, and nicely done for the price.

Cons:

There was a smell similar to sewage on our floor. The shower had mold in the grouting.

Pros:

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, going well above and beyond to make you stay comfortable. Best Sandman I have ever stayed at!
