A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

Bookings of six (6) rooms or more are classified as group reservations and are subject to separate Terms and Conditions. Upon receipt of such a booking, our Group Reservations Department will contact the guest to outline the applicable procedures and request confirmation of the group terms. Put down in basement room no phone signal, wasn’t given wi-Fi to compensate this .Room was

The room's comfort is good. The staff was nice. When I asked something, they helped me easily. Location is the best side of the hotel. The street is quiet, and you can jump into Hyde Park. 2 streets behind, there are many grocery stores. AC was good.
The room and bath area was really small. I've stayed in Japan, and this is what Japanese hotels are famous for. The room was very similar to those hotel rooms for 1 person. Sometimes there's a queue for the elevator. There's only one elevator and there can be many people at once.

The bed was completely knackered
The last night i found a purple towel and a pair of socks beside my bed, near the night stand that did not belong to me.
I went to complain to reception, no apologies given simply they will look into the card reader record.
I mentioned this again at check out, no apologies and same comment was made.
As a solo female traveller i felt really unsecured and freaked out.

Attention quand vous réservez une chambre double originale vous pouvez vous retrouver au sous sol (au -2) dans une chambre sans fenêtre. Personne ne vous prévient de cette attribution et le changement de chambre a été trop compliqué (proposition de nous mettre dans une chambre à l’étage mais avec une fenêtre condamnée et sans climatisation). De plus la climatisation ne marchait pas (en pleine canicule à Londres) alors que toutes les autres chambres en avaient une. Les cartes pour rentrer dans la chambre fonctionnent une fois sur deux. Je pense que nous avons manqué de chance durant notre séjour.
I booked it for the location.
WARNING!!!! The general hotel facilities advertise as having air conditioning, however when we arrived the room is in the basement, with no windows and no air conditioning. We had to leave as 3 single girls at 1am due to safety issues. They claim that the room itself doesn’t advertise air conditioning, despite the general hotel amenities stating the hotel is air conditioned. They are refusing a refund due to this. Both booking.com and the hotel have been disgustingly appalling, each being unresponsive and none of them taking responsibility.
I booked two rooms at this hotel on behalf of colleagues travelling to London, and unfortunately both had a very poor experience.
One guest was initially allocated a small basement room with no window. On inspecting the bathroom, she found several used yellow star-shaped pimple patches stuck to the shower walls. To the hotel's credit, reception did move her to another room, but although it was an improvement, it was still below an acceptable standard.
The second guest checked in later that evening and found that the room had clearly not been cleaned properly, with rubbish and plastic bags left on the floor. After taking his shoes off, he realised the carpet was damp, which was extremely unpleasant. The shower was also poorly maintained, with an empty soap dispenser and a blocked drain that caused water to pool around his feet while showering.
Both guests also commented on a strong musty smell in their rooms, which made their stay even less comfortable.
When these concerns were raised with reception the following morning, the only solution offered was a paid room upgrade. We found this disappointing, as guests should not have to pay extra to receive a room that is clean, hygienic, and properly maintained.
The issues we encountered were not minor inconveniences but basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance that should be expected from any hotel. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.
