Magical Birthday Stay
Pros:

My birthday stay at Garden of the Gods Resort was truly magical from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was surprised with a complimentary suite upgrade, which immediately made the celebration feel extra special.

The suite felt like a private retreat, blending comfort and elegance beautifully. The spacious living room with a cozy fireplace was perfect for unwinding, and the in-room coffee bar made slow, peaceful mornings even more enjoyable. Every detail invited relaxation.

The balcony was a standout feature. Sipping coffee while taking in the breathtaking views of the red rock formations was unforgettable. Experiencing such iconic scenery from the privacy of my own suite made the stay feel both intimate and luxurious.

The bathroom deserves its own praise—it was truly beyond words. Spa-like, expansive, and thoughtfully designed, it felt like a sanctuary. From the soaking tub to the upscale finishes, it elevated the entire experience.

The resort’s amenities were abundant and well curated, offering plenty of ways to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay.

Garden of the Gods Resort made my birthday feel beautifully celebrated. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and incredibly grateful for such a memorable getaway, and I cannot wait to return.

Stunning views & hot rooms
Pros:

Overall, the hotel and views are absolutely beautiful! We loved sitting in the chairs and just watching the world go by.

When checking in, we had upgraded our room and were immediately disappointed that there were no views. We went back to the front desk, and they were able to switch us. I wish it had been more clear upon booking because the entire point of staying at this hotel is for the view.

When we walked into our room, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful view and the room itself. However, it was boiling hot. We searched high and low for the thermostat and could not find one. We called the front desk and were surprised to find that we could not control our own temperature. We asked them to turn it down. Thankfully, it was a cool day, so we just opened the back slider.

This continued into the next day, and maintenance came by to let us know that the chiller was broken. Beyond that, we found it very disappointing to not be able to control our own temperature at such a nice resort.

We had some of the worst sleep we have ever had at this hotel. It was much too hot for us the entire stay. We slept with no covers and were still hot. The bed and pillows were some of the worst I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. We also heard EVERYTHING our neighbors were doing. They didn’t even seem loud at all from outside the room, so I think the soundproofing between rooms is just lacking.

We did have both dinner and breakfast at the GrandView. Both meals were excellent, and our servers were very attentive!

Overall, we had a really great time here with the vibes of the room itself, as well as the resort overall. Unfortunately, we got next to no sleep, so this was nowhere near as relaxing as we’d hoped. If you are coming for the vibes, it’s absolutely worth it. If you’re coming in hopes of relaxing and getting good sleep, I’d skip it.

Fantastic location, exceptional service! Luxury tucked away in the Springs
Pros:

The service, the luxurious facilities, the location of the infinity pool facing the great mountains and just in general how peaceful the property is. Though you never feel like you need to leave the hotel, if you are venturing in to downtown it is only 11mins away.

Cons:

The outdoor pool is warmed to 84 degrees however on a colder day this still was not as easy to swim in. This however might be pretty standard and so this is truly about personal preference.

Fine, but not worth the cost
Pros:

Location is breathtaking. The wait staff and spa staff are so attentive and professional. The room was well kept but maintenance needs reviewing as our room was either freezing or boiling and we were not given access to change the climate settings - engineering has to be called to adjust. Even when they did, it wasn't right. Front desk staff are off hand and one gentleman in particular was especially rude to myself and my friend when we queried some charges on my card. For the cost of this resort I expected a far better experience than I received.

Relaxing, stunning views, and close to many attractions
Pros:

Blissful, relaxing stay. I would recommend booking a room with a mountain view balcony! The view was breathtaking, especially early morning and at dusk. The location was close to Garden of the Gods Visitor Center and hiking trails. The drive to Manitou Springs, Red Rock Canyon Open Space park, and the US Olympic/Paralympic Museum were all an easy and fairly short drive away. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.
