Nothing, I booked for 3 nights but checked out after one.
On arrival was given card to open doors, it did not work and young man who seemed to be part time could not get it to work properly and said it was because doors were old. Everything was old, bathroom sink had ceramic peeling and no drain stopper, Street noise was overwhelming, No dining area and no continental breakfast. lack of furniture had one chair and a bed, no desk, Just overall bad. I had paid for 3 nights and only stayed one but they would not give me a refund for the two nights I did not stay, said it was Booking.com responsibility, I won't use them or your company again.
Love the Historic aspect of the hotel , but the rooms could use a major update. My faucet was running the whole time and my bed skirt was nasty staff did warn me about compliances they were amazing.
It was cheaper the most in the area
It's an old building with no on-site parking you'll most likely have to park two to three blocks away to park
The history of the hotel
Carpets gross. Linen threadbare. Filthy sink water came out of tap rusty. Plug in sink didn’t work. Also they had no record of our reservation so it was lucky they had rooms when we arrived.
Everything, but would have been nice to have restaurant or food of some sort. And...taller toilets!
Parking was 2 blocks away.
Lobby
No parking bathroom dirty
The location was great. The air-conditioning in the room was good. The sheets were comfortable.
Hotel is rundown and needs a makeover. The electrical outlets were somehow loose and plugs would not stay in. One lamp was not plugged into any outlet and another lamp didn’t have a lever to turn it on/off. There was no outlet in the bathroom, which is understandable since it’s an old hotel, but there was no other mirror, extension cord, or outlet to be able to dry or style our hair. The bathtub was stained.
Location was perfect for walking downtown. Beautiful old building.
Room plumbing is in desperate need of repairs
Great location.
It’s a real shame. This is a great historic hotel but has seen better days.
The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We complained and were moved. But really that’s not the point. Its a tired hotel with a staff that try and keep it together .
The history
The noise from the traffic. Busy corner
The location
Room was small.
The lobby was nice and I enjoyed the historical artifacts. The location was great and the staff was very welcoming and nice.
This hotel was listed as being updated and “luxury” and it was neither. The first room I was given had a broken toilet, the 2nd had a broken light. Overloaded extension cords running under doors. Threadbare towels and the most uncomfortable sagging bed I have slept on.
Downtown location was exactly what we wanted. Staff was VERY friendly. While it is an old hotel, with a lot of character, rooms were better than I excepted. Good size. Loved that there was a refrigerator/freezer in room!
Did not like the elevator (but it is an older hotel). Also the in room A/C unit is one of the loud ones. Glad to have A/C, but quieter would be ideal. These things would not stop us from staying at the hotel again.
This is a historic old hotel right on the main drag in Cheyenne, close to Depot Park, the Capitol, and loads of pubs and restaurants. It's also haunted.
Cold water to the sink was shut off underneath, because the regular tap wouldn't shut off. Towels are chintzy. Worst thing was a small 1/2 inch piece of pointed metal that was sticking out of the door hinge that I scraped my arm on.
Er zit wel een mooie geschiedenis in dit hotel. Als je jezelf een beetje in de tijd kunt verplaatsten dan is het bezoek aan dit hotel echt wel de moeite waard. Ik heb er geen spijt van.
