The area and scenery was very nice and quiet.
The room was a bit small and I thought the balcony would have been bigger than a small countertop. Not knowing patrons with dogs would be occupying the same hotel however I see why my allergies flared up.
Excellent hotel! Best pool vibes around. Fantastic stay. We love this hotel. Staff is always helpful and accommodations have everything we needed and more.
Excellent spot for kids. Very close to Oakbroom malll. Pool is great for the kids and there is a very big hot tub. The lounge area is very open and comfortable to sit and have a drink. Nice views as well.
Wonderful accommodations! Staff excellent, professional, helpful and made stay that much better.
Max , Has been over and above giving out standing service and will make you feel like you’re at home there.
I will admit this young man has hospitality down.
Great stay in February.
Amazing location surrounded by beautiful nature. Breathtaking lobby area to meet and greet friends and family. Rooms were very comfortable. We didn't get time to use swimming pool. All the amenities were excellent.
There are some discrepancies in the billing which we are sorting out with the sales and billing team
I had some business in town and decided to book with the Hyatt for it's central location. Unexpectedly, my stay was excellent. Everyone from the breakfast workers, front desk, housekeeping and the bellmen were friendly, attentive and service-oriented.
The property is renovating rooms in phases and you wouldn't know it as I haven't heard any noise what-so-ever; The final room product looks fresh, modern and welcoming.
I would certainly stay again after spring or during the summer if I head this way again. Also, I would recommend the hotel to anyone on business, or any families who would be utilizing the very large lap pool.
Additionally, there is an oversized gym, sauna, steam room, spa and an abundance of conference room space for any activity.
Thank you
Visiting the Hyatt several times for family fun staycations has became a tradition almost! I love the amenities. I love the cleanliness. Do not know the persons name who checked us in but super super nice!
Some things that were very disappointing was travelling and paying for a room strictly for amenities. When those amenities are not up to part. It is very frustrating. Through the door it was not clear that the 2nd floor was under construction. Getting on the elevator with bags to be on the 3rd floor to turn back around and see the sign that the elevator won’t work to go to 2nd floor. To Walking up to the 2nd floor ….to travel through dust and bare floor construction zone was shocking. To get down to the pool and the jets did not work with a room temp tub vs hot tub was disappointing. Also, Last visit there was a tub in the room. This time. The stand up shower I liked but is definitely definitely a risk. Even with the doors shut water still spills on to the floor. Making it a skating rink.
Property is located at calm and quite location,Room was neat and clean with limited amenities.Found hospitality at weaker side.Needs more help at front desk
Lindsey Ruck was AMAZING. The coordinator was so helpful, the food & staff -waiters & AV team were PERFECT! I am tough customer - they exceeded my expectations. The food tasted good, was warm & the worked in delievering the food during a presentation. I will return for my next corporate meeting there.
Our family had a reservation to spend the night and use the facilities the day after Christmas. We’ve never been to the campus or used the pool, but pictures have always looked amazing, so we figured we would try it out and hopefully make this an annual post holiday occurrence. We booked 2 rooms, requesting joining rooms, so our 4 children (5&U) could go to bed earlier and my husband and I enjoy a quiet evening to ourselves. Upon entering our room, a very strong smell of marijuana filled the room. The front desk staff was unable to accommodate another set of joining rooms unfortunately. Having two new rooms just down the hall from each other would defeat the entire purpose of our local getaway and enjoyable evening. My husband stayed with our two older children to have a sleepover and I took our 18 month old twins home.
Room issues aside, the pool is wonderful. It was crowded, but is very large and could accommodate the numbers. However, this location COULD NOT accommodate the numbers with the amount of pool furniture on deck. There were multiple areas that could hold chaises and tables with chairs, but were absent. Guests had personal belongings on the floor. GROSS.
There were zero towels on the towel rack for the first 45 minutes we were in the pool. I called the operator from the phone in the locker room in which a lady answered and told me “hang on” and I stood dripping without a towel for 10 minutes before I hung up and left. Very unprofessional! I’m just glad I wasn’t paying for a spa service and now have no intention of ever visiting this spa due to lack of professionalism.
We tried to dine in at the pop up prancer’s pub for dinner in which we were told they were only seating reservations (which was not communicated anywhere.) While we sat and ate our takeout from the kitchen, two 6 person tables sat empty the entire 1.5hrs.
Front desk management provided a list of ways we would be compensated for the inconvenience, but provided no follow up. I emailed hotel management and director of operations, reaching out multiple times before hearing a response. We will not be returning to stay at this establishment until they get their acts together to accommodate the volume of guests visiting or staying on property. Such a shame!
It was our two day getaway vacation. Staff were very polite and accommodating rooms were clean, and everything Was working properly. The hotel was not new, but it was well maintained. me and my girlfriend couldn’t get enough of the pool and the Jacuzzi.
My friends and I traveled to this hotel from Chicago for a peaceful reading retreat, looking forward to time spent by the fireplaces and in the hot tub. We did not realize that the hotel largely services families on the weekends who need somewhere to entertain their children. Every area was overrun by children. The pool was so loud. There were no towels available in the pool area in the evening. The hotel seems to allow people to bring whatever food or drink they want into that area - many adults drinking out of solo cups (at least be more discreet!). It seems the day pass people were not made to leave at 8pm, as we believed they would. Too crowded, couldn't enjoy the hot tub at all. We enjoyed the areas by the fireplaces and had good experiences with the service staff at the bar. The food was mediocre but we didn't have high expectations. Our rooms were fine, but not great water pressure in the shower.
Not sure if they can do anything about the amount of children/families taking over the pool and I'm not sure they care to as they probably make a lot of money from them. Just a warning if you are looking for a relaxing weekend retreat with your significant other or friends --- this is not the hotel for that.
This place is BEAUTIFUL! I loved sitting near the fire place in the hobby while my room was being prepared. Was able to check into my room early. The hotel upon arrival smelt lovely and clean! The rooms were very nice and clean! The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The spa was amazing as well. My family and I will definitely be returning!
