On New Year's Evening, there will be no public transport to and from the hotel after 20:00. The last hotel's shuttle will depart from the airport to the hotel at 20:45 and the last shuttle from the hotel to the airport leaves at 20:30.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Good place to stay if Amsterdam runs out of affordable rooms, or before an early flight
Pros:

The staff was friendly, the bed comfortable, we got a free welcome drink and unlimted free shuttle bus to the airport. The location is not great but doable for a visit to Amsterdam (there's a direct bus), and a building site nextdoor.

Building work started at 6:45am!!!!
Pros:

We weren’t informed about the building work when we booked even though we booked in as a family with two young children.

We were put in a room looking directly into the building site and then work started at 6:45am, no consideration for guests, loud shouting, banging and setting up of a large crane! Full on building work at 6:45am!!!!

The window in the room seemed as if it was open, it blocked out zero noise.

The official photos on here and other visitors photos are in absolutely no way representative of how the hotel looks at the minutes, I have no idea how no one else has posted photos of the work!!!!

The only positive to take away is that the staff are friendly, polite and helpful and I imagine this is an issue they have to deal with on a daily basis.

We stayed in a suite and really liked the layout with two separate rooms and an entryway. We appreciated the coffee maker and refrigerator.

Cons:

There was construction nearby, but the hotel was well insulated to keep the sound out.
