Started very rough did not get much better
Pros:

Most was good, but a lot smelled of old stale water.

Cons:

Pancake machine was out of service 2 days out of 3. The buscut were stale or smelled funny and other products sat too long

Pros:

The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was nice.

Cons:

When we came in for the night there were other guests gathered around the main entrance smoking so we would have had to walk through it to get inside, but we were able to use a side entrance.

From check-in to departure. Everything was good.
Pros:

Check-in was easy. And Jerica was very accommodating and super nice. Thanks to her, we felt right at home. She's true Midwest hospitality.

Always a great experience
Pros:

This is a great property. I have stayed several times in the past 12 months. Always very clean. A sensational water park (which I and my grandchildren enjoy). Rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very good, and the dining area is tended to throughout the breakfast service. They have a great team working at the Holiday Inn Express in Fremont, NE!!

Not Great At All
Pros:

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The hotel somehow lost my original reservation and then “fixed” it by creating a new reservation at a higher rate than what I originally booked. Instead of honoring the price I had confirmed, they charged me more.
To make matters worse, they put me in the room closest to the lobby/breakfast area where people were drinking, yelling, and carrying on until around 2:30 a.m. I barely slept. There was clearly no concern for guests trying to rest.
The next morning I called IHG customer service and was told the manager would take care of it “no problem.” That absolutely did not happen. The manager was rude, unhelpful, and still charged me the higher amount despite the hotel’s mistake.
Overall, terrible customer service, poor handling of a reservation issue, and an awful overnight experience. I will not be staying here again.
