The appeal of the building and price.
Invest in matttesses! Sat down and it was like sitting on a toddler teaining bed. The air trapped, plastic wrapped experience is not good. Paint is not expensive and freshens the room. I appreciate the appeal of the continious porch rail, my over 80 MIL would have appreciated not having to walk the porch length to get to her room. Neithe me or my MIL could open the inside door lock. Thanfully, my grandson got ours open and we text MIL to not touch that lock. For these reasons (the lock being the biggest) we chose a different location for our return trip.
We didn't take part in breakfast.
Room temp was OK. AC seemed to try to cut off regularly. Probably operator error.
ROKU TV was pretty much a disappointment.
Neighbor next door seemed pretty shady.
Parking area could use on the back side could use some maintenance. Parking blocks are crumbling away.
Nothing major but could use some attention.
How close it was to where I was needing to be for work.
The key was in a plastic box from Walmart under a patio table. I requested a handicap room, was told I would have one, but didn't get one. Had to ask for a replacement shower curtain because there was only a light weight, non waterproof curtain. When I showered it sprayed the whole bathroom with water. The sheets were basically see through. Also the on the property there were multiple signs that said absolutely no pets on the premises. And there was a dog in the lobby, presumably the desk staff's personal pet. It actually prevented me from opening the door because it kept jumping on the door.
we didn't eat there
It’s location
The bed was a little low to the ground and a little hard
Close to ball field was playing at
Well checked in a lady at desk said the water line busted to bath tub night before got there so guy was suppose to come the afternoon we checked in to fix it.Got back from game around 10pm and guy was working on it.We set outside until around midnight waiting for shower to be fixed so could get cleaned up & go to bed.Guy came out said he couldn’t get shower fixed. So next morning went ask if could use a room where someone had checked out so they gave us room key.Went up stairs to take shower and both of us had to take cold showers because was no hot water.
Inn was beautiful itself and decently clean (spiders and other bugs on door and outside). Staff was very friendly.
The hotel smelled like mothballs to the point where we had to go to Walmart and buy a plug in. The bed was so worn out that it was very uncomfortable and flat. Anytime someone moved it made loud squeaks. Needs updated horribly.

Location
Both beds squeaked every time you moved or rolled over or got out of bed. The covers were thin - a blanket was needed. Breakfast was skimpy.
Rooms are very spacious
Tub and toilet are in a small room while large countertop and sink are located outside that room
It was a nice stay and we would stay there again
Staff was very friendly.
Older motel but adequate for a night. Clean room, friendly staff. Not much offered for breakfast. Beds were not comfortable and squeaked when you sat on them. Our biggest negative was there was no place around to eat on a Saturday evening except fast food. Tried 4 local places around 6 pm. One was “out of food”. Other 3 were closed. Settled for taking Sonic back to the room.
Air conditioner is somewhat noisy. I would also suggest hand rails on the stairs. Room was clean, staff very friendly. Bed could be a little more comfortable.
The room was simple and adequate for our needs.
