Disappointing at best
Pros:

aesthetically the hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean and new and what I have come to expect from Le Germaine hotels, as I tend to book exclusively with this brand.

Cons:

technically, I had issues starting with non-operational blackout blinds. It seems room 810 is the only one in the hotel that they forgot to put a switch in. Wi-Fi was spotty at best, the major issue was with the thermostat, for some reason it required constant resetting and in between those times the temperature in the room which soar beyond 30 Celsius. I ended up having to “sleep with the window open” which in downtown Toronto meant I was woken up every five minutes with the sound of honking horns, people or recycling trucks. The blinds broke, so privacy was limited and to top it off. The TV was non-operational. When I go to a hotel, the last thing I want is interaction with hotel staff and Maintenance entering thecroom ,and the fact that each night that I stayed there was an issue and requirement to enter the room. It just completely negated my weekend getaway. I’m very disappointed.

NYE extravaganza!
Pros:

What an extravagant, spectacular and magical NYE supper dinner at PUNCH and overall romance package and stay! 

Le Germain’s Mercer Toronto team delivered an impressive, impeccable and inspiring performance and exceeded our possible expectations! 

From the moment  we arrived till the checkout  their constant and contagious wonderful smile made us feel at home! 

Special wholeheartedly Thanks to
Jean - Phillip ( General Manager) and his incredible team of hospitality professionals:
phenomenal Luke (Concierge)who once again delivered the unexpected and is a real gem having him on your dream team ,
Punch manager Lauren  and host Abby with such  a  wonderful smile our  incredible personal dinner professional Kenny, Memory , Sean Stefani at the check in , room service, ice bucket personnel delivered to our suite  and breakfast personnel,  Evelyne at the check out  and all of the rest behind the scenes going above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay ,romance package and dinner at PUNCH an amazing one! 
The Executive Chef and Chefs created masterpieces and food that is poetry!

From the reception to the valet, the customer service was exceptional and very professional and friendly.

Un séjour de confort et de plaisirs.
Pros:

L'hôtel Le Germain est reconnu comme étant parmi les meilleurs. Depuis que j'en ai moi-même fait l'expérience, j'y retourne toujours lorsque je vais à Toronto. Je n'ai jamais été déçue jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Tout est excellent et je souligne l'empressement du personnel à satisfaire toutes nos demandes. J'ajoute également que la nourriture est excellente!

Cons:

Rien. Tout était parfait, comme d'habitude.
