Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel

Returned Vn to experience TET , year of the Horse. we stayed at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel as usual. We booked a Suite in the newly renovated Grand Opera Tower. The room was fantastic the room was modern clean spacious and with a great view . The hotel is located right in district one steps from the Opera House, Saigon Centre and Nguyen Hue. This makes it super easy to experience Ho Chi Minh City during Tet. But again what made our stay memorable was the hotels top-notch staff. From Mr Anh Le, Thanh Lam, Hao Dong, Khanh Pham and other bell staff to Saigon Cafe Manager Loi Pham, Manager , Dinh, Giao, Khanh, Jerry & to other staff members to the Asst Club Mgr Thu Phung & staff members at the Lounge. Everyone was willing to assist us in every way possible . They remembered our favorite table , how we like our coffee and Fresh coconut made every morning. Amenities like the pool and Gym are also top notch.

I am a professional tour leader of Viking cruise with over 20 years of experience. Saigon is always ăn exciting destination in our company's itinerary, and Sheraton is a great choice that we have bên lotal to for a long time. The hotel has just undergone a major renovation, the rooms are really fresh and modern. In addition, the food at the restaurant is of good quality and fully met the strict requirements of our multinational guests (American, Australian, Canadian...). Modern equipment and advanced facilities help guest's experience meet expectations. In addition, the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, always providing through support and handling customer issues quickly and skillfully during their stay. Special thanks to Mr. Hau Le, a professional Concierge who always handles my issues and my guest's issues sensitively, quickly and effectively and his team: Mr. Trieu Trần, Mr. Toan Concierge. In conclusion, Sheraton hotel will always be a top brand in the Marriott group that I am happy to recommend to my guest.

As a Marriott Platinum member, I had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel.

Despite its age, the hotel is very well maintained, and the service from the staff is exceptional. I especially enjoyed the service in the executive lounge, where the seating is incredibly comfortable. The highlight for me was the abundant food offerings, specially in happy hour, mostly like dinner buffet. Even when the afternoon tea time, they have provide scone. It is very tasty!

Specially I want to thanks for Mr. Huy Huynh, he always remember me and always ask what he can help me. His smile is unforgettable and friendly.

Very comfortable room - the room faced the pool and was extremely quiet, even though the hotel is on a main street, very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast!
However, there were renovations on the upper floors of the hotel, and if we had to be in the room - it would have been an unpleasant inconvenience. At the very least, this information should have been given before booking the room - it would have been less pleasant to encounter this fact during the stay itself.
The city is more expensive than the rest of Vietnam, but it is one of a kind! Don't miss it!

We recently had the privilege of staying at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera for three wonderful nights, and it left a lasting impression on us — not only for its elegance and comfort, but above all for the extraordinary warmth of its people.

During our stay, I was unfortunately not feeling my best — and the staff noticed. On our last morning, a member of the team took a moment to personally wish me a speedy recovery. Such a small gesture, yet it touched me more than words can say.
The hotel itself is magnificent — perfectly located, impeccably maintained, and refined in every detail. We also had access to the Sheraton Club, which added a wonderful sense of comfort and exclusivity to our stay.

Really getting into physical exercise led by fitness team is a sporty lifestyle. Laughs, sweats and fitness level conquers are all about of a well-being communal sense - good job bros!

Stayed here while on holiday in Ho Chi Minh City. The location, in the heart of District One, next to the Grand Opera and within walking distance of tourist attractions and plentiful restaurants and bars make this a very good choice to stay in the city.

Hopped over to Ho Chi Minh City for a quick 4-day vacation after a work trip in Thailand. I loved the location of the Sheraton -- everything I wanted to do was an easy 10 minute walk! The staff was attentive and very proactive in meeting my needs. My room was a king deluxe with a view of the city -- it was spacious and nicely appointed. The newly renovated pool area was a nice touch. The only thing lacking was a rooftop bar/restaurant which is coming soon!

It was really fun, enjoyable and relax with the fun game Monkey Island at the Sheraton pool. Every one is so friendly. Clean pool, warm water, delicious juice drink and fantastic pool staff. An unbeaten feeling as taking challenge to crawl upon the pipe float. A must-to-try activity to everyone.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Saigon and Grand Opera Hotel for four weeks in February and March 2026. In recognition of our Bonvoy Titanium and Lifetime Platinum status, our room was upgraded to a suite. The hotel is exceptionally well-managed, highlighted by the General Manager, Mr. Julian Wong, and the F&B Manager, Mr. Stephen Wright, walking the floor in the mornings to ensure everything was in perfect order. We thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional service provided by their outstanding staff. They paid incredible attention to detail; for example, they remembered our favorite coffees and fruits at breakfast and brought them to us before we even had to ask. The entire team is well-trained and very friendly, and the food served during breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour was excellent and of top-notch quality.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable and lovely recently renovated room. Everything immaculate including pool, gym and lounge. We paid extra for the lounge access which included afternoon tea and dinner everyday, and was great value. Breakfast was amazing, best I have ever had. Very conveniently located and we organized a car to and from the airport, which also worked out well. We had a street side room so a bit noisy at night, but usually quieted down around 10pm. Some building noise but nothing disturbing. Lovely staff.

We visited during the new years holiday. The hotel lobby was very decorated for the holiday. The staff was very well dressed and pleasant to everyone that arrived. The lobby was very spacious and there were plenty of areas to sit and be entertained.

Super cool today!!! I haven't been to this event and today was a blast. People are so outgoing in here and crowded too. Will definitely going back!

We opted to book a sweet in the newly renovated tower and it was a great decision. The site was very well-appointed and quite spacious, with a separate living area, small dining table and mini-bar setup. Having a Nespresso machine on hand was terrific. The bedroom was also quite huge as was the master bathroom, plus there was an additional toilet near the door and living area. The suite gave us access to the lounge, which was quite a pleasant experience. They serve a full breakfast there, plus afternoon and evening "snacks" - we have to admit, it was a LOT more than snacks, and felt like full meals all the time. This was a great spot to head to for a quick drink and a bite. The hotel staff were absolutely phenomenal, so pleasant and polite, always smiling and ready to assist with just about any request. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Opera House, is walking distance to a shopping mall and other nearby attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff's hospitality!

The staff at the hotel were lovely. The location is top notch and close to great restaurants and shops in District 1. The doorman - Hao - went above and beyond to show me one of the best cafe sua da on Nguyen Thiep Street, even going so far as to walking me over straight to the location. The experience overall was fantastic because of the staff.
