Lovely hotel, let down with the facilities.
Pros:

Location central, 5mins from the train station and trams outside.
Room was fabulous, huge and well equipped
Breakfast excellent with likeable staff, very attentive.
Evening service closing curtains and pillow mist, 1st night

Cons:

Room wasn't cleaned on Saturday (Friday to Sunday stay)
Drinks were not replenished in the fridge.
Very limited room service menu.
Poor bar service, we were offered 1 zero alcohol beer which was an ipa, coffee machine wasn't on, so would take a while for drinks (3.30pm)
Balcony had weeds growing on it.

Super great view
Pros:

Wow! We had a king suite overlooking the city. When you opened our door you stepped into the bar lounge- this was great. David the bellman was super informative and Jordan at the desk was great. The kicker were the drams sent to our room, nice touch

Fabulous location, Excellent amenities and wonderful staff. Could not fault a thing. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Location, views, amenities. Everything.
David looked wonderful in his kilt and his list of restaurants and insights was carefully curated and thoughtful.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was fabulous, though navigating our way around and between levels to our room and finding the lift on the 3rd floor was tricky at first but we got our steps up with all the walking.

Tolle Lage, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal an allen Stellen. Unser gebuchtes Zimmer - eine Suite - hat genug Platz für uns 3 (2 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager) geboten.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war unmittelbar im Bereich der Bar angesiedelt, wo sich die Bargäste quasi vor unserer Zimmertür aufgehalten haben, was teilweise gut hörbar war.

Fab stay in the heart of Edinburgh
Pros:

Staff were amazing especially the lovely bar tender made the best cocktails and the nicest guy, loved the secret roof garden, location fab and parking really easy right next door in safe multi storey and half price. Room nice and comfy.
