Everything about this hotel is amazing! I love the bar area with the fire pit
Not one thing I didn’t like, it’s a fabulous hotel with fantastic staff
Everything was amazing grrat stay staff were accommodating and extremely friendly
Nothing
I had a wonderful experience at The Glasshouse, Autograph Collection. I stayed for five nights during my honeymoon, and the entire experience was truly memorable.
The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay, which made a big difference. As a thoughtful gesture, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of whiskey, which we really appreciated.
The hotel itself is very comfortable, well-maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere—perfect for a special occasion like a honeymoon. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality experience.
Breakfast was good.
Too business orientated, dated decor, unfriendly staff
Location, and the staff, and the upgraded room ( we paid)
Nothing really
Breakfast was excellent with a full buffet AND cooked to order entree. Server was friendly and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing. Bed was very comfortable, room was huge.
All staff were very nice and engaging. The room was lovely and great to have access directly to the gardens. Great views from the gardens to the Firth of Forth and Calton Hill. Location was superb, with the Omni centre next door and plenty of good places to eat.
Breakfast was disappointing for a 5 star hotel like this. We had to wait for a table for a while, not because there were no tables but because they were short staffed. While waiting we were offered to help ourselves to juice, but when we tried to take some there were no glasses. It was even a big deal to get a spoon for the yoghurt. The food was also quite bland, cheap ingredients used. For the price, our expectations were not delivered. They need to do better as this is an easy fix.
Staff were super friendly and helpful
Nothing
The Glasshouse was a lovely surprise find . Central yet specific to its design it feels less urban . Staff ad hotel are great .
Nothing is fair to say
The welcome was lovely and a glass of Prosecco on arrival. The hotel is lovely and our room was spacious and very comfortable. Whilst we didn’t use the outside space because of the weather it did look great.
The room felt a little dated, but was very spacious. The staff was very friendly. The location within Edinburgh is convenient. The tram connection form the airport right to the hotel is great.
Carpet in the bathroom, seriously?
The hotel has a very odd setup with a lobby at street level that has no facilities other than the check in desk. From there you take an elevator up to the top floor into a corridor. A significant walk along the corridor lets you reach a bar area, which most of the day felt lifeless. There is a beautiful roof deck on the same level, but the bar area is not visually connected, in fact it is windowless. There were signs for a restaurant but I never saw it. All in all it felt very disjointed and did not have the energy of a regular hotel lobby and bar setup.
