Holiday Inn Express Garden City East by IHG

Lukewarm water in shower, then just cool water. Super heavy pillows on beds. Room was fairly clean, but not up to Holiday Inn standards.

Very good service, god bless this hotel. I can inform you, you will have a very nice stay here. It was very clean and nice here thank you for letting me stay here.

It was a last minute stay. Pool was closed, no hot water, Room was clean, bed was hard.

Room needs a COFFEE MAKER.
Room needs jacuzzi fixed.
Help at the desk needs help in being nice.
Slept on floor because curtains wouldn't not close all the way. Pole lights kept me up.

Avoid this motel! We stopped for a quick overnight stay while traveling. We understand that this is an older budget motel,but what we found was a room,with stained sheets, stained/dirty carpet, and only 1 working light in main room. We woke up to no hot water and were unable to bathe. We told the front desk clerk and ahe was indifferent and stated that they HAD been having issues with the water. However,not one word about no hot water when we checked in or no signage to indicate there would be no hot water.

Freindly staff. Good breakfast biscuits and gravy and waffles. Clean room. Good laundry.

1st room had mold in the shower and the second one had dirty carpet.

The first room had mold in the shower. The carpet is awful. The parking lot is terrible.

I filled out my preregistration online, but apparently the system hadn’t transferred it over so I had to fill out the form upon check-in. Also, on the website it said my credit card would not be charged until check it was only to hold the reservation. My sister and I split the cost of our room, but the girl said it had already been charged to my card and it was too late. Our room while very clean had thread bare sheets that had frayed ends at the top and in the AM we couldn’t shower at 6:00 because there was no hot water. I did report this to the front desk when we checked out at 6:30.

I've stayed here many times when my grandmother worked here. Wasn't the same without her.

Under renovation but it was fine for a night

Not recommended to stay at this location, had no hot water for 2 days Tuesday and Thursday we were there for a week. Breakfast was terrible, consistent of undercooked white biscuits sausage gravy in a bowl no warmer covered by aluminum foil. Water down orange juice cereal waffle batter that wasn't mixed properly so my Waffle was flat and a very small selection of bagel and some type of bread. Maintenance on responsive no coffee maker in the room, who tells me and renovated, no pool available was not told us ahead of time, no coffee maker in the room you could buy one from them though. Third floor maintenance that is renovating a hotel stays there not just workers their family and kids running up and down the hall and coming out between midnight and three slamming the doors. Definitely affordable hotel and never recommend

The hotel is under renovation and is currently not a delight to stay in. The bathroom was moldy above the shower and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Mud on the stairs. Overall not a bad experience for the price, but not a place I would choose to stay again.

I did not feel safe

The pool was closed down. there was no refrigerator (I bought groceries because we were staying 2 days and there was supposed to be a fridge I had to give that stuff away or let it go bad.) or coffee machine in the room. It was with to hot or to cold (there was no embetween). Water pressure was decent but there was rarely any hot water. You can tell they are trying to clean up the property there is people working like in the pool area and there is painters tape here and there but hotel looks ran down. carpets are in need of a deep cleaning. the parking lot is full of pot holes. and with the work going on there are big trucks and containers surrounding the parking lot so hard to maneuver through. there is also trash from the construction taking up room in the parking lot. I don't understand why a hotel is not required to tell you that the pool is not working or if the room is missing amenities
that are promised on the website.

The pool was closed and the breakfast was only a single waffle maker, some cereal, and some dry pastries. The pool and free breakfast were our main reasons for staying here, so it was very disappointing
