Fantastic friendly staff. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff were really kind and accommodating. The bar staff were also lovely. The hotel was in a great location and only a small walk to the city center. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back and stay there again.

Good property good location
My daughter was at the property and supposed to stop overnight. There was a domestic incident between her and her now ex boyfriend. She was trying to get to the room for safety, the boyfriend asked reception staff for a spare keycard to get into the room and he was given it. I feel that this is extremely concerning and puts women at risk.
I had to uber her home and the room was not used.
I am currently staying at Leonardo Hotel Newcastle on Scotswood Road and felt compelled to leave a review before I've even checked out because the experience has been so positive.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Although my Booking.com reservation wasn't initially showing on the system, the team quickly resolved the issue and made the check-in process completely stress-free.
My room on the seventh floor was spotless and exceeded expectations. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the room was well equipped with a large TV, a Nespresso machine, quality coffees and a selection of teas. The bathroom was modern and immaculate, with an excellent rainfall shower, quality toiletries and fresh, crisp towels.
I also ate in the bar and enjoyed the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and represented excellent value for money.
Breakfast was outstanding. The selection was one of the best I've seen in any hotel, with a huge variety of hot and cold options, all well presented and regularly replenished.
Considering my stay, including breakfast, cost just £71, I genuinely believe this hotel offers exceptional value. The staff, cleanliness, facilities, food and overall atmosphere have all been first class.
As I sit here enjoying the final few hours of my stay before catching my train, I can honestly say I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newcastle.
Good location but be wary of the bars around you if your not that way inclined.
