Top quality service.
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Great service. Excellent food and drink in Exec Lounge. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean with great view of city.Highly recommend.

Pros:

Staff are lovely but the hotel is tired and doesn’t live up to the name. Lobby staff are fantastic but the bar is understaffed and boring. Don’t bother with a spa treatment, it’s a pitiful excuse for a spa and the staff are not professional and not centred on you visit with them.

Poor service and old rooms
Pros:

The ritz has either gone down hill. the rooms are okay by hampton inn standards. The breakfast had a large spread but food was definitely low quality. Tried several of the bakery items and they were all stale or very dry. The croissants were very crunchy not soft or buttery. Service was abysmal.

Older but still grand hotel in a good location.
Pros:

Our three night stay at the Ritz was overall very good. The room was overall to our liking with nice views over the city- however a couple of shortcomings in the bathroom- no hand held shower and only one sink. But otherwise a great room and bathroom . Staff were overall extremely welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast. I would recommend the hotel with one caveat.

I’m removing one star solely due to the room AC being barely adequate and unable to cool below 20 C with outside temperatures being warm but not too hot- high of 90 F and low of 72. We complained but they were unable to fix it. Room was cooled ok but a few degrees warmer outside and it would have been a real problem.

Pros:

outstanding staff! Especially one concierge, Francisco arranged our trips, restaurant reservations, and transportation with a bubbly personality and a smile every day!

Una triste decepción

Las camas son buenas, la ubicación conveniente para ciertos intereses.

Cons:

Me da mucha pena siendo chilena que vive en Santiago decir que este hotel no tiene nada que ver con los Ritz del resto del mundo. Es una vergüenza.
No se lo recomendaría jamás a un extranjero que conoce otros Ritz.
Viejo, sin mantención, todo mal manejado.
El restaurante y desayuno es bueno, pero la atención mala.
Pero no por falta de personal si no que mal organizado, mal dirigido.
Los detalles del Ritz no existen. Se ve el”ahorro” en todas partes. Nada con logo ni toallas, zapatillas de levantarse, ni batas, ni nada.
Las toallas de la piscina viejas, desteñidas.
La piscina parchada, vidrios rotos, plantas secas.
El ascensor suena preocupantemente.
Advertí que era cumpleaños de mi marido y nos dejaron un pedazo de torta que tenía un pelo en el interior…
No es todo malo, pero no es un Ritz “normal” y claramente no vale lo que cobran.

Great stay in Santiago.
Pros:

We arrived late and the Ritz checked us in and informed us the kitchen was still open. We also departed late in the day and they allowed us to use the gym & spa after checking out. Great buffet breakfast daily. Front desk very helpful.

Comfortable:)
Pros:

We stayed here both before and after our cruise. The location is very convenient, and the beds are comfortable. However, the hotel mainly caters to large groups and cruise travelers, which makes it feel quite busy and impersonal at times.

Service at breakfast and in the restaurant can be slow, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. The hotel itself is somewhat dated and could benefit from renovations.

I do want to give special mention to Christian and Christopher, the bellhops. They were absolutely outstanding—kind, helpful, and always welcoming. They truly made our long days much better with their warm and friendly service!

A disaster

Avoid this hotel.
Juste one picture which will be more efficient that all my words. Look at the towel in my bathroom.
In additional the guy from the lobby did not answer me because somebody called him on his mobile.
A réal disaster.

SIMPLY SUPERB
Pros:

We've stayed in Ritz Carltons all over the world, and this one was absolutely right up there with the best! From the location to the staff (the bellman greeted me by name every time he saw me) to the roof top pool to the lovely accommodations to the excellent buffet, not a thing was missed. And, it was a fraction of the cost of most Ritz Carltons we've stayed in. As my title says, it was simply superb.
