Privately owned, not a major chain hotel. Quite refreshing actually. For the money great value. I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Copper Stay Inn/Rodeway Inn in Benson, AZ. It is a budget hotel, but all of the amenities were clean and sound, including the bed, shower and bathroom facilities, and HVAC unit. The staff was very friendly and expedient, and check-in and check-out were quick.

Came in for the Lantern Festival. Great place to stay. Walkable to the lantern festival.

We were in town for the Lantern Festival. We dropped our stuff in the room and went to the event. When we got back, the room was full of crickets and other creepy crawlies, including a centipede. None of us were comfortable staying there. The picture of one bug in the bathroom also reveals how dirty the floor is. We got an airbnb and left immediately at 10 pm. We will be calling for a refund.

Danny O'Sullivan [owner] and his staff are excellent. Facility needs upgrades, beds are hard and uncomfortable. Copper Stay is in the process of joining the Rodeway Inn chain and maybe this will help.

When we got to the motel, they let us in early , which was very nice because we were really tired from traveling and really needed a nap but .... There were really big black crickets in the room and every time we opened the door , moths came in the room . I guess we weren't used to queen size beds , they just felt so small to us so we used both beds , one bed was really rickety but , the other bed was comfortable, otherwise the room was clean , although I did find someones list vitamin on the floor . And oh ! The sink drain was very slow in drainage. The motel could use a remodel , the carpet is pretty worn out !

we had some special needs while were there that arose unexpectedly and they were wonderful and accommodating.

The tub was not clean.
The bed was super uncomfortable. I could feel every spring.
One of the parts for the coffee maker was on thd floor.
I was told there would be coffee from 7am to 10am in the lobby, but the lobby was locked
There were ants in the room.

Excellent hotel, great services!

Enjoyed the stay

There were bugs on walls in room. The shower dripped the whole time we were there. Old rusted cars in the parking lot and poor outside lighting.
To be fair we had car trouble and the honored our late check-in

The hotel is just 1 minute from Hwy 10, but there was no road noise. I very much appreciated the quiet full night sleep.

It is a clean, although older, motel.

They allow dogs and there is a nice walking path just outside the hotel. (See photo)

The only thing nearby is a Denny’s. We didn’t have breakfast there but we were told that with your hotel keycard you can get 15% off.

I’ll start by saying that the rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. My problem with my stay was that the staff when you needed them the door showed an open sign, but no one was ever in the office. You rang the doorbell. You have to stand there for at least 10 to 15 minutes to get a response. We wanted to use the pool, but the pool was literally green and full of dirt we wanted ice. Their ice machine was out of service when I pay a rate for something I expect to be able to use the amenities that they are promising us.

No maid service, dumped my own trash and had to go get clean towels

The front desk guy was very nice at check in. Stayed one night. Pleasant little hotel. However....AC didn't work. Room was very dirty down to old coffee stains on the counter like the room had not been cleaned after the las6t guest. Lots of loud tenants. Mattress was too small for the bed frame which left steel bars to walk into.

Just a quiet old motel that’s working hard to stay relevant. The front desk person was wonderful. He put my 86 year old mother and I near the lobby and even walked down, opened our room and turned the heater on for us.

The rating on this hotel is not accurate! Very run down hotel and didn’t feel very safe

Easy to stay at and nice staff.
