Quality Inn Dutch Inn

I've stayed here multiple times through the years. Each time seems to be worse. This past weekend there was no hot water in the shower. The bedding and towels were dirty. There's water damage and mold all through the bathroom. The only saving grace would have been the breakfast, but even that was closed. I won't make the mistake of returning. The management changes over the last 20 years have let this place go downhill badly.

Do not stay at this motel. Horrible. I had to ask where my room was. Employee said it was at front. It was not in front. The room was in the back. The door would not open. I tried several times. I went back to front desk. Told them the issue. They did not know what to do. I ask for another room. They said it was not available. Finally, I then ask for another room. When i open the door, the marijuana smell was horrific. I went back to get a refund

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did have dinner, and it was excellent. The staff was friendly and my meal was great, I had the Ribeye and baked potato and a garden salad. Cameron was my waiter, I found him to be attentive and professional. I would definitely come back again when in the area.

This hotel is just gross, your going to think oh it’s not that bad it’s a cheap rate and it’s only one or two nights. No don’t do it!

Floor was dirty, lamps not working, door to connecting room not locked, bathroom dirty, hair (not mine) all over the pillow on the bed, hair in the bed, flies, you name it this place had it.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at and one of the most unsafe I’ve ever felt. People absolutely overdose and other illegal things here for sure.

This is not worth it!

I canceled all three rooms at the front desk after seeing the condition of the facility.

Needs more light fixtures, receptacles that work, coffee machine broke in room, bare continental breakfast, no room service for towels or vacuuming or trash, no ice machines but new one not unboxed yet, no pool as of 5/20/23 still covered.

Most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in, mattress wasn’t clean bedding had cigarette burn holes. Dirt all over the floor upon check in and the bathtub was filthy. Mold on the wall by the ac unit. Electrical wires sitting on the floor behind the bed.

We stopped here on a Thursday afternoon to get a room. The desk clerk was friendly and informed us that our rate would be less if we booked online instead of at the counter which we did. She put us in a room facing the street and the noise from the road and the people talking in the parking lot was loud most of the night. There was a single, thin, blanket on the bed so my wife went down to the desk to get another one. She brought back another thin blanket so we decided to just turn up the heat a little. The Wi-Fi code we were given did not have enough characters to join the network and when we tried to call the front desk we discovered that the phone did not work. The shower was hot but the center knob to switch from tub to shower didn’t work and we had to do with a weak stream from the shower head while water poured out of the tub spigot. The cleanliness of the room was sub-par due to a unswept floor and very dirty grill on the heater. Even though the rate was cheaper than most in the area we probably would not stay again.

The room was filthy! I had 1 towel and no tissues!!
I was charged for a room on the ground floor when i couldn't walk up steps.

THE DUTCH INN IS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND THE HOTEL HAS BEEN AROUND FOR QUITE A WHILE. THE ROOM WAS DATED BUT IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED LIKE WE EXPECTED. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GREAT.

The lady at the front desk was extremely unprofessional. She never smiled and only bad mouthed the computers and card readers at the the front desk. The keys were not programmed properly so had to see the unfriendly lady again. She was even worse the 2nd time. Once I gained access to my room, the a/c didn’t work and the shower was filthy. I will never step foot on this property again and I will tell anyone traveling through Martinsville/Henry County to stay away.

Pool was closed due to a drowning. Didn’t inform anyone that it was a crime scene beforehand. Rooms were filthy. No one came to clean the rooms until the 3rd day.

The entire property is falling apart! The lobby area was clean, but they chose to clean carpets overnight in the breakfast area; the floor was still wet the next morning & at least one person fell down. The rooms were barely adequate; with very old linens, thin towels, laminate floors instead of carpet, etc. Basically, I would not expect Quality Inn to continue to carry this facility. I would not recommend it on Expedia or any other social media. Too far gone w/o renovations.

This place and our room was DISGUSTING. Do yourself a favor and do not ignore the bad reviews like we did. Cracked paint, dirty chair, dirty floor, and BLACK MOLD!!!

I wasn't impressed with the room. Went to the front desk to let them know that we only had one washcloth and they gave me a hand towel and said that was all she had. Dead bugs in the room. Ice bucket was not clean and was dirty on the outside. The pool was not well kept. It looked as if it needed some refinished. when you sit on the toilet and got up it moved. Nothing was mentioned to the front office since they didn't like it when I told them I was without a washcloth. I wouldn't recommend this place to stay at.

property was showing signs of age but it was nice to be as old as it is. enjoyed the stay

We enjoyed our stay and breakfast was great.

Room was dirty and smelled. Surfaces and floors were not wiped down. Had to wipe down room myself and febreze. In need of updating and maintenance. Free breakfast buffet was good. Good pizza joint across the street.
