The location was right off the highway and not far from Kent State where we were visiting.
Breakfast was not the best and the pool was freezing cold.
The breakfast was decent.
We were assigned a room and when we got there, it had not been cleaned. The beds were still unmade, the bathroom was not clean. We had to go back downstairs, get a new room and keys and move our belongings. It was just very inconvenient.
I did not wake up in time for breakfast
There was nothing to dislike, other than the location being too far to walk to downtown but that’s not the hotels fault

Any concerns I or my family had, the staff were more than helpful & promptly solved my issue.
Maybe an extra hour for breakfast would be nice......😊 Instead of closing @ 10am....... 11am would be great! I'm sure a lot of late risers would agree 😂

When I got there, my room was ready.But I was kind of unsatisfied with the smell that was in the room.Your staff was quick to change me out to another room and I totally appreciate that in the state was awesome after that. And I really love the location because it was down the street from my family, so it wasn't far from me to travel.I appreciate your time and all the work efforts of your staff

My daughter wanted two things a pool and waffles in the morning. The pool was closed and the waffle machines were broke
Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Very nice fitness center.
Pool looked fine but sign on door said out of order. The door handles for the stairway were missing. The shower curtain wasn't long enough in shower which allowed water on the bathroom floor. The wipes for the equipment in fitness room were completely dry and useless.

Hotel is conveniently located off I-76 and just a few minutes from Kent State University. It's a smaller Hampton, but pretty typical for the brand. Overall experience was positive. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was good, with just a couple of very minor issues that the front desk was notified about upon checkout. Noise level is a little more than most people would like, but there were some exuberant guests, so it really wasn't terrible. I can vouch that the fire alarm works well (someone overcooked something in the in-room microwave at 0015) - it could wake the dead. LOL. Bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked as expected, HVAC system was pretty quiet.
