The building was undergoing updating construction but still usable. The upper floors were already finished and that is where everyone was booked into. The upgrade is beautiful.

Find somewhere else to stay.
Pros:

Shower was warm, bed was decent.

Cons:

Breakfast eggs were powdered eggs and had a grainy nasty texture. Manager waited on us. Not friendly at all. She changed us our two nights x 3 . Took days for all the extra changes to fall off. You'd think out of all people the Manager would've screwed up so bad. We won't stay there again. Also construction going on the whole first floor. Manager said would be done at 5 pm. Very round and dusty. We walked in at 9pm, construction was still going strong. So that was a lie. Don't was your time at this place.

Good bed, good shower and good breakfast… but it is under construction upgrades
Pros:

The bed was comfy, the shower had good water pressure and the breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

So the hotel is in the middle of remodeling / updates.. so not completely their fault for remaining open to keep business going. But a few of the new outlets in our room did not work and the bathroom door would not shut completely, was clearly not square. And sad to say, I’m not a huge fan of the sink being outside the bathroom area, prefer to wash my hands immediately.. not have to touch and open the door to wash hands. It took quite awhile for the mini fridge to get cold as well. The main hallway was very dirty from the ongoing construction and a few of the vending machines were not functioning. And while we “shouldn’t” have heard the elevator, per the staff, we heard it and every other noise especially from outside - had to check to see if the window was open or something… but all we could tell was the AC / Heater unit must’ve been replaced because the framing seemed unfinished. All in all was a decent hotel and sure it will be even better once all updates and construction is finished.

Cons:

I chose this hotel because it had a pool, and served breakfast. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom is in need of repair(shower doesnt turn off rm 217). We asked about the pool daily for 3 days-"closed". I had to take my family to the Florence Aquatic Center($12) to swim. Then as we came back to the hotel through the lobby entrance the male desk clerk(about 6:15p 5-29-25) stopped us and accused us of swimming in the hotel pool!! I quickly let him know that because the hotel pool had been closed for all three days of our stay that we had to pay ($12) to use the city pool(Florence Aquatic Center). That accusation was the last straw. I can't wait to get on my TripAdviser account and state only the facts about our stay at this Best Western. Don Steele
