Pros:

The buffet breakfast was very good. We had half board and the dinner varied from very good when it was a buffet to ok for the set dinner. Staff were very friendly and professional.

Cons:

The bed linen and towels at the hotel need to be replaced, they were clean however a bit tired and pilly,, also should have a top sheet on the bed.

מלון על שפת הים , שירות טוב , מסעדה במלון ברמה ממש גבוהה, הגענו לאחר טיסה ארוכה ושהינו רק מספר שעות , נהנינו מאוד מהשהיה , יש אפשרות לספא

GREAT Beach side stay in Negombo - A true value for money
Pros:

Everything was perfect, room was quite, wifi was good, Balcony sea view was amazing, spa in the hotel was great, everyday different breakfast and rooftop louge was outstanding with good food, drinks & Shisha.

Cons:

Only complain rooftop lounge, they do not have much shisha units and we had to wait for someone to finish.

Enjoy the sunset over the Indian Ocean while you have your last dinner in Sri Lanka.
Pros:

Spacious room, partial view of the sea, effective AC. I'm not a pool user but the horizon pool on the roof was spectacular. Restaurant on 6th floor overlooks beach with very comfy chairs and a great atmosphere. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. I chose to eat dinner here twice & I'm happy I did. Very enjoyable, apart from one hiccup. Breakfast buffet comprehensive. Staff genuinely try to help. Front desk staff, particularly on the second day, extremely helpful, especially the porter and ?manager (sorry, didn't get either name, lovely chaps though) and young Harshana. Really appreciated that I was allowed to hang around for hours after checkout as I had a midnight flight. I got lucky with the choice of this hotel as my last in Sri Lanka. Recommended!

Cons:

OK, small things, mentioned for the benefit of the hotel. Room lacked tissues, soap and conditioner (I understand why, some customers abuse, but I appreciate). Room 2007 was a little scuffed and worn, including sheets, but minor really. View partly obscured by house next door: not a big thing. Restaurant excellent: location, view, facilities, food and atmosphere BUT on the first night a combination of ?understaffing & poor communication (partly me, I don't speak ?Sinhala) spoiled it a bit. Staff seemed rushed trying to support a buffet and a la carte: I was first customer & ordered at 6.30, food didn't arrive until 7.30. When it did it lacked the mango salsa (necessary for curry!) and my drink didn't arrive with it. I got up to ask. The man in charge said no need to include the mango salsa as there was some in the buffet and I should help myself, which I did, to mango chutney (closest thing I could find) & a poppadom (which I thought was on the menu), but on the way back to my table I was accosted by another staff member, who I'll call millennial girl, saying 'you can't take from the buffet or we'll have to charge you another 5,500' or similar. I struggled to explain the problem as her English, though way better than my Sinhala, was not perfect. Eventually she said 'we'll let you off this once' or similar! And the drink arrived, although dinner was getting cold by now. Then I had a superb dessert. Staff disappeared so I didn't try a coffee. At 8.30 I'd finished but no staff around. Since I'd had to state my room number three times and show my key three times (food, beverage, dessert) & front desk had my passport details and credit card and we'd agreed to charge meals to the room, I felt confident in leaving. But just after I got into bed, near 10, a loud knock on my door and 'room service' spoken loudly got me out again. It was millennial girl, demanding I sign for each item.

Amazing views of the sea.
Pros:

Amazing views of the sea from our room. We had the most enormous window and a lovely balcony to admire the view from. Our room was big with an enormous king sized bed (we had asked for two singles, however the bed was so big we could have easily slept 4 adults in it!) it was central in Negombo with many bars and restaurants in easy reach. A much better option as a hotel near the airport than Colombo. Staff were professional and friendly and breakfast was good.
