Beautiful location, good breakfast choice
Room very small and lighting not good
The room was in the old part of Mosborough Hall, and featured wood panelled walls and a lovely very comfortable four poster bed. There was a Nespresso coffee machine along with a kettle and further tea and coffee, and replenishments were available upon request.
The bathroom featured a shower which was bright and airy, Personal care essential were supplied, including a comb and a razor pack.
Evening food was very tasty and well presented, along with an excellent breakfast.
The staff were very helpful and genuinely pleased to see guests.
We are planning to return in the near future
The shower was a little disappointing, where you almost had to run round to get wet, as the water pressure was very low, but this is the only niggle, everything else was great.
Reception staff are very welcoming an helpful as always.
Bar/lounger area is loverly
No hot water from the shower.
Breakfast was limited at the beginning of service.
Rooms have very limited sound proofing
I love it here. The hotel staff can’t do enough and are lovely. They do everything to accommodate your needs, and each time I have stayed here they have provided a modern, quiet room, and a clean modern bathroom. The setting is in beautiful tree lined garden. Very peaceful
There was one room they showed me where the bathroom needed re grouting
Breakfast was the only thing we liked about our stay
The room was very dated, mouldy seal around the bath also hairs,we found mouldy milk in the cupard from the previous guests.
The robes where a washed out white with missing ties so useless, there where also children playing under the window on gravel with a million fag butts the staff told me the council place people and children in the hotel fleeing domestic abuse i was not inpressed with this as we where there to relax and paid alot of money and to also feel sad.
Wouldent recommend and will not be returning..
The setting and the grounds are fantastic and hidden away. The staff were very helpful upon arrival to check in. The hotel is in a great location and with easy commute to motorway and Local amenities.
Great place
All good
Staff friendly and helpful

Very poor mattress
My room was spacious and well equipped with a little sofa (that I think was also a sofa-bed) which gave the room a comfortable feeling. Room service was available and super quick, delivered by the same, cheerful, helpful woman who had so quickly checked me in. The bed was very comfortable, bathing accessories were provided which was a bonus as I had forgotten to pack toothpaste. A complimentary water and an orange drink were a nice touch.
No complaints - it was a one night stay, so I didn't get to see the entire hotel but it worked well for me.
I love the serenity of the setting, the gardens are beautiful. I have a favourite room as I have stayed here a few times now
Beautiful location and rooms
We stayed in room 106 and this was right next to the corridor exit door and ground level. Not adequately sound proofed, very noisy guests above us and on the corridors all night got woke up with noise then woken up in the morning by staff on corridor and guests constantly going through the door. The outside noise wasn’t great either, the windows are not good at keeping sound out and being ground level could hear everyone walking past outside and staff and cars. Maybe a different a room we would have had a better sleep.
The staff were very good. The bed was also very good
Day 1. We booked dinner and it took approx 45 minutes to arrive which is unacceptable.
Day 2. We order 3 sharing dishes. The order was delivered wrong. I had eaten mine before my wives dish appeared.
Day 3. We both ordered a cheese and tomato sandwich. Price £8.50. The sandwich was literally 2 slices of sliced bread with grated cheese and sliced tomato inside with crisps. This was not value for money/, and was not something I would expect a professional chef to produce. My 10 year old Granddaughter could have done better.
Day 4. Sunday. We were given a menu and made a choice only to have the menu taken away and another Sunday lunch menu given to us. This wad 8pm and nobody has Sunday Lunch at that time. There is a clue in the name.
However, I picked steak and ale pie and my wife picked another type of pie. Only to be told neither were available. So they then brought us the bar menu.
This is very poor service for food and from the kitchen.
Everything except breakfast
Breakfast not at all worth the cost
Personeel
Inchecken. Het is gedigitaliseerd. Zeer onpersoonlijk
Pleasant, friendly girl on reception/bar. Drinks not too expensive, nice bar area, not too many stars to room.
Room, although small, was fine, but the bed was much too soft for us (personal comfort).
Excellent accommodation - staff - Food
