Lovely well maintained property friendly staff
EV facility was poor however this is something that doesn’t affect everyone

The location and situation of the hotel were excellent. The grounds were a joy and open and airy. The staff, especially paulo in the restaurant at breakfast, were friendly and helpful.
The only adverse comment I would make is the en suite bathroom was scruffy in places, ie the caulking around the bath and skirting boards. A handyman should be able to keep on top of this.apart from this, everything was A+
We came to a wedding the venue is beautiful
The wedding venue was nice
No staff around for check In. So f you had an issue this would not be resolved. No water in the room which is a big disappointment every hotel I have Stayed in always provides a bottled water
Overall a satisfactory stay at a hotel we have used a couple of times each year. Staff are always excellent, breakfast very good. Plenty of parking available and free. Only real issue was the lack of hot water pressure in the shower (we stayed in the Lord Darcy Suite). Not enough power to wash your hair as a woman and even my partner had to shower in cold water to get more than a slow stream.
Beautifully kept and in a fantastic, peaceful spot.
The self check in. The receptionist directed us ti self check in, as she said she was busy doing something. It don’t work for us so sleep had to call her over anyway!
Absolutely terrible booked last minute arrived 10.30 pm paid £120 to have check out at 10am, room was so hot no air-conditioning,rooms in desperate need of updating.

We wasn’t satisfied with the quality of the afternoon tea.
I think they certainly need to work on the freshness and quality of what there offering for the price they are charging.
A polite way to put it that our sandwiches were served stale, dry and like cardboard.
We are feeling Very disappointed with it.
Overall it’s beautiful place its self but the standard of the afternoon tea was poor.
They do need to work on improving afternoon tea to match the price or consider serving it fresh.
Angela on the other hand works really hard, she lovely lady, doesn't forget you as she always asks us if we want anymore tea.
I would like to just say how AMAZING the service was in the breakfast are this morning. Angela was extremely helpful, polite and very professional. There was an unfortunate couple behind us who was for some reason unhappy about the wait for the breakfast (which was 15 mins max) and Angela handled it like a champ! She couldn’t have apologised enough, aswell as the other lady working this morning (we didn’t catch her name). It’s not often you see such positive and hard working staff this early on a Saturday morning, while also dealing with some difficult customers. We also raised this positive feedback to your management in the bar area before we left.
