Not sure about the AI check in and out but everything else was ok

Cons:

The room wasn't cleaned thouroughly enough. The bathroom was a little grubby and a used hair bobble was found on the bedroom floor.

Enjoyable One night stay
Pros:

good location and lovely grounds
executive room and bathroom spacious and very clean
very limited dinner menu but food very well cooked and presented
staff absolutely marvellous, friendly and helpful
good value for a 3 star hotel
very comfortable bar area and prices reasonable

Cons:

shower in the bath, we are OAPs and found it very difficult
little storage space in the bedroom but ok for one night
some rooms a long way from reception
no telephones in room to contact reception

The stff were nice and helpful
The bedroom was clean and the bed was likensleeping on a cloud

Cons:

The price of the drinks, we were there for the wedding and in reception the drinks were cheaper than the actual wedding, and you would think that the price of the drinks were the wedding is would be fairly priced as couples have paid all that money to have there wedding at your venue

Very tired, self check in and no room cleaning - Poor
Pros:

Ive stayed at this hotel many times in the past but doubt that i will again, the Hotel rooms are very tired and in need of a refurb, Bath was cracked, skirting and doorframe rotten and paint peeling off in many places.
You now have to self check in and out on a tablet, including cutting your room keys, so no personal experience at all.
There is also now no cleaning of the rooms during your stay, i assume this is another cost saving decision.
Not sure where the cost savings on those decisions have gone but its not into the hotel.
Overall makes the stay really basic and not something that i would repeat.
Staff and food were good as normal but the rest really let it down.

very poor - really a budget experience at an overpriced cost

Staff and Food were great as normal

Cons:

Rooms are very tired and in need of refurb, Bath had a big crack in it, rotten woodwork in the bathroom, peeling paint etc
Self check in and out on a tablet is a pain, including cutting your own room keys, so no personal experience at all.
No room cleaning carried out during your stay now - new hotel policy.

Great value country house hotel.
Pros:

Quiet historic country house hotel with some newer rooms more recently added. Bar area is huge with indoor and outdoor seating and all-day food available. Also has restaurant. Not much in the village itself but very nice pub The Mossborough Inn a 5 minute drive down the road. Great breakfast. Separate events space which might get busy for weddings. Great value hotel.

Lovely stay, peaceful and our room was lovely. Robert’s suite. Really nice break. The staff are super friendly too. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Not the best stay
Pros:

The wedding venue was nice

Cons:

No staff around for check In. So f you had an issue this would not be resolved. No water in the room which is a big disappointment every hotel I have Stayed in always provides a bottled water
