Great location, beautiful hotel
Pros:

The room was absolutely great, it had a separation to turn it into effectively two rooms which ended up being a great resource to sleep my 2yo.

Cons:

It was too hot, we suffered peak heat and record temperatures which makes a non-controlled temperature room become uncomfortable

Outstanding location. Beautiful exterior rather disappointing inside.
Pros:

The location is exceptional. I don’t think I could have stayed anywhere better in the city.
The exterior of the building good.
The beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom and linens very clean

Cons:

Sooooo hot in my room but that could also be said of everywhere I visited in Basel these few days. The Swiss don’t seem to do aircon. I did request a fan for my room based on previous reviews and thankfully they had supplied 2 especially which were essential on the 29 and 30 degree days.

The interior of the hotel has had a revamp but it’s ultra basic, rather sparsely furnished but the view from my balcony certainly made up for it.

Gostamos muito pela receptividade do atendimento e gentileza
Pros:

Nossa reserva foi para um quarto duplo simples e realmente não atendia as expectativas . Foram gentis e nos deram na outra noite um quarto melhor. A localização é ótima , perto de tudo .

Cons:

A primeira foi muito pequena - os quartos não tem A.C. e estava bem calor.

Rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Hatte eine erholsame Nacht - das Bett war bequem, das Zimmer für den Preis groß und hatte alles was man benötigt.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten, insbesondere an der Rezeption. Da ich das erste Mal in Basel war und erschöpft von einer langen Wanderung, wurde mir mit Information rund um das Hotel und der Stadt sehr geholfen.
Wenn ich wieder in Basel übernachten sollte, wäre es mit sehr hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit wieder hier!
