Çalışanlar çok kibar ve nazikti.Özellikle resepsiyon ister. Odalar çok konforlu,rahat ve temizdi. Konum çok iyidi. Direkt nehir manzarası görüyordu. Bir daha gelirsek de burda kalmak isteriz.

Staff did as much as possible to make us comfortable, we are just accustomed to a/c and more space.
Pros:

Desk staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly! Beautiful location along the river.

Cons:

Tiny room size, especially when beds were split, no a/c during a heat wave, and very little space to set toiletries in the bathroom.

Schöne Aussicht

Cons:

Wir erhielten einen Upgrade für ein Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Rhein, was sehr schön war. Nur leider war es laut, weil wir wegen der Hitze bei offenem Fenster schlafen mussten und von draussen bis weit nach Mitternacht Musik abgespielt wurde (wahrscheinlich vom Restaurant des Hotels). Zudem leuchteten die Lampen der Restaurant-Terrasse ebenfalls die ganze Nacht, was auch störend war. In einer anderen Jahreszeit oder bei normaleren Temperaturen könnte man natürlich einfach die Fenster schliessen, was während unserem Besuch leider nicht ging wegen den Rekordtemperaturen Ende Juni.
Bei der Balkontür konnten wir nur einen Flügel öffnen.

Kurzer Aufenthalt in Basel
Pros:

Schöne Aussicht auf den Rhein. Zentral in Basel.

Cons:

Es läuft die ganze Nacht Musik vom Restaurant im Balkon auch wenn es geschlossen ist. Lärmpegel am Abend hoch.
Es hat jetzt neuen Besitzer gegeben,jetzt kennen Gratis Kaffee mit Gipfeli mehr.
