Pleasant stop enroute to SLO
Pros:

Booked upper floor (no elevator building) originally but had to request for a room on the ground floor due to leg injury. Check in staff was understanding and found one on the ground level.
So grateful that the room had a microwave for my heating pad.
The whole property was tastefully and cheerfully decorated with Halloween theme.

Cons:

More options of breakfast for clients who are on low carb diet, perhaps fruits.

Lovely local spot to stay at.
Pros:

Good location, parking, pretty clean. I liked the filtered water, breakfast, and the cozy hangout spots in the courtyard.

Cons:

Pillows and mattresses could use a bit more support. I wish the restaurant was renovated and reopened.

Everything I wanted ... for a decent price
Pros:

From the outside it seems like a tired property ... but to me, this represents a perfect stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. AND I got to drive my car right up to the door ... pretty rare these days. And for California, the price wasn't at al bad.

Cons:

If I had one complaint, it's that the breakfast offered was uninspiring ... but I wasn't really staying here for the breakfast.

Love the room, bed, bedding, outside seating on private deck, access to the pool, breakfast room. Close to downtown Solvang. Friendly staff. This was a great find. Loved the pool
