Geniale Lage in Strandnähe. Ansonsten unbedingt Velos benutzen!
Pros:

Geniale Lage. Innert Minuten am Strand oder beim Stearn Wharf. Um die Einkaufsmeile zu erreichen, muss man ca 15 Minuten laufen.
Super Frühstück für alle etwas vorhanden. Grösse Zimmer ausreichend.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. When I entered my room, I found a large bloodstain on the comforter, which was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable.

I immediately called the front desk and specifically requested that the entire bedding set be replaced. However, instead of following my request, they only sent someone with a single replacement comforter.

To make matters worse, the housekeeping staff could not understand English, making it extremely difficult to communicate and resolve the issue.

The most disappointing part was that the hotel never even offered an apology. Finding a large bloodstain on hotel bedding is a serious hygiene concern, and the way the hotel handled this situation showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for guests.

I expected basic cleanliness, proper service, and at least a sincere apology. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on all three.

I would not recommend staying here.

Great location and pleasant place to stay
Pros:

This hotel gets a gold star for location-- across the street from the marina and a great whale watch boat (Condor II): within walking distance of Sterns Wharf, marina, and a number of restaurants (check out several at the east end of the marina); and the downtown area and wine tasting rooms if you are up to a bit longer stroll.
We drove an electric vehicle, and there were two EV charge stations and another Tesla station in the parking area to charge up -- free. (Yes, I said FREE). That is a big plus in my book. Pool was nice.
In spite of being above the main shoreline thoroughfare, with the balcony doors closed, the noise from the street was minimal.
It is not new and shiny, but has some ambiance and everything worked. Overall, a pleasant and good place to stay.

Cons:

We had a room with a view of the marina, overlooking W. Cabrillo/Shoreline drive, with a balcony. When using the balcony we expected to deal with road noise, people traffic and some conversation from neighbors, along this main thoroughfare, but the room above us (with a balcony directly above ours) was occupied by a couple (maybe some other visitors part of the time) that were playing loud (LOUD!) music and being quite loud in conversation (they were getting pretty happy on something ...). It really ruined the experience of sitting out on the balcony and watching the sunset and later in the evening. In addition to that, earlier in the afternoon-- inside our room-- it sounded like someone was moving every piece of furniture in the room above back and forth -- I don't know what they were doing but this went on off-and-on for a couple of hours. We talked to the receptionist after the first night and asked if the occupants would be there the next two nights-- and if so (they were) what about moving us to another equivalent room away from them. That wasn't an option. The next night was not as bad, but some singing along with songs, etc., was still annoying when we were sitting out on the balcony. I think there needs to be a clear message to anyone who checks into one of the premium view balcony rooms, at check in, that there are other patrons above and below and adjacent, and they are not paying a premium for the balcony rooms to be blown away by someone else's party-- so don't play boom boxes or shout or have loud conversations. OK? Some people have to be told, they haven't learned that yet.
BREAKFAST: Typical, as you find at a lot of hotels, after one morning we ate elsewhere. I give them a plus for good bacon, and coffee was ok. But how about a plain unflavored yoghurt in the mix of oversugared flavors in the refrigerator? Every piece of bread or pastry, bagel etc.

Fantastic location adjacent to the beach, pier and harbor, great room view, included happy hour and breakfast were both nice.

Cons:

Property is worn, tired and needs refurbishing. Elevator and hallways, carpets, bathrooms. Bed and linens were actually pretty good. Overall, it is just aged.

The room was really small, the bathroom also. Apparently you have to put a card at your door for it to be cleaned and we didn’t know so they didn’t clean out room for the second day. For the price we payed it was WAY way way overpriced.

Dostali jsme pokoj 108, který smrděl a nedalo se v něm žádným způsobem vyvětrat. Okno bylo jen do společný chodby kudy chodili hostě z bazénu a recepce.Bylo tam hrozné vedro a klimatizace nejenže zápach v pokoji zhoršovala ale ještě foukala přímo na jednu stranu postele.
Stěžovali jsme si na recepci a dostali jsme pokoj v druhém patře, ale rozhodně nedoporučuji bookovat pokoje v prvním patře -za takovou cenu je to hrůza
