It is not the first time I stayed at this hotel. I really like the location, the breakfast and the sensation of being in a small hotel, where you feel welcome and comfortable.
We picked this hotel because it was close to Gare du Nord train station and sleep three ( an actual bed for my son ). We arrived little bit after 2 Pm and our room was not ready for the check in time at 3. The gentleman on the front desk Mr. Hugues was very friendly and helpful of getting transportation to the airport the next day and navigating few sightseeing locations around the city while we are waiting for our room.
The room was on the top floor with very tasteful decor and huge bathroom. We slept well for the night before heading home.
Staff
Another nice stay at this lovely hotel. Stayed with a friend so we used public transport more this time rather than taxis. If you arrive on the Roissy bus from Charles de Gaulle airport the number 45 bus stops close to the Cadet metro station which is a short walk to the hotel. Easy checkin and got a lovely room overlooking the street. If you are British and like your tea - take your own teabags! Getting back to the Roissy bus stop is also easy as there is a bus stop around the corner behind the hotel.
There are two options for breakfast - an express one which is juice, coffee, pastries and a pureed fruit pot. The alternative offers sausages, meat, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, toast, pastries etc.
The Cadet metro station is just a short stroll from the hotel - the Louvre metro stop can be accessed from this station. If you wanted to go to Sacre Coeur there is a bus close to the Le Peletier metro stop (40 I think).
There is a lively bar just around the corner with drinks at reasonable prices and snacks. There is a restaurant directly opposite the hotel which I would highly recommend - Le Mastroquet.
If you are looking for a lovely hotel in a nice area with good transport links I would thoroughly recommend this hotel with great staff who are friendly and helpful.
Love the location!
Close to great restaurants and shopping and convenient transportation
One of the receptionist in the morning is very rude and not accommodating at all please management do something about it! She works part time! I just forgot to get her name. The location of the hotel is FAR as it is showing to the map
Once again Ms Boucher and crew went beyond expectations to make my stay exceptional! That’s why I’ve made it my ‘Parisian home’ for over a decade.😎
We needed something near Gare du Nord. It was walking distance (though a bit tough with large luggage). Clean, comfortable, and a very friendly staff.
The staff were professional and friendly. The beds were comfortable and rooms were immaculate.
Got an adjoining set of rooms although these were really two separate rooms side by side that required a key to get between them but were also behind a common door. Much smaller than they appeared online. Staff was helpful. Nothing special but nice.
The hotel location is great and the buffet breakfast was a nice little touch along with the lovely lady that serves and keeps a cheerful vibe. The bathroom was clean but we had a problem with bath which had to be fixed the next day.
1st time in Paris. very convenient, walking distance to popular attractions and Gare du nord train station.
The room is very clean, fully updated (including the bathroom), and well-stocked. The decor is modern, vibrant and uplifting. All our beds were cozy and very comfortable. Most importantly, the staff made us feel so welcome there. Special shoutout to Bouchra, who made us feel like we really belong there. Her gentle friend Irina, and also another gentleman who gave us good advice on how to get to Disneyland, are also worth mentioning. Excellent customer service! I give this hotel 5 stars and I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Paris.
Clean room, clean bathroom, great towels, and good water pressure. Comfortable room in a good location. Walked or took taxis to all local events, nothing over $18 in fares. Lots of dining options; friendly staff, very accommodating. Highly recommend.
Sink drain a little bit blocked. Otherwise is good.
Great friendly staff.
I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel with 3 friends and we all had a room each. My room was lovely and had everything you needed; tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, an en-suite with a walk in shower and lovely french doors opening out into the street below. The staff are really friendly and professional and everyone was pleasant on our stay. Two of us ate in the hotel for breakfast choosing the express option of 2 pastries, tea / coffee, juice and a yoghurt (more like baby puree but edible) - think this was arount 8 euros each.
The location is really good - just off Rue Lafayette and a short stroll to Galleries Lafayette, Le Printemps etc and the Opera. There are plenty of bars and restaurants near the hotel and the metro Cadet stop is just across the road. Look out for the crazy cyclists though who insist on going through the red light whilst pedestrians are on the crossing. We learned to be vigilant.
Back to the hotel - it was a great stay in a lovely area - so much so that we are already booked to go back again.
Quaint area, close to a metro stop, helpful staff, neat little areas within walking distance
Front staff is very helpful and welcoming. Some are more knowledgeable than other, but all tried their best to assist us throughout our stay.
Nice Hotel in Paris - but the double bed is very small
