The Buxton, BW Signature Collection by Best Western

I love the funky design and really enjoyed using the bikes. We had decided to book at the Buxton to use the pool and jacuzzi which was not working while we were there. We were kind of bummed about the pool issue, but the night staff told is about the wellness facility. When we came down to inquire about using it the next morning, the team had a package waiting for us to go use it. That was so sweet!...Also, just realized this question was about what I 'didn't' like- nothing. You should be proud of your team working there, they are great!😊

My room didnt have a microwave or fridge. There was.no breakfast yet it is supposed to be a best western?

They are targeting a very specific individual. If you want a coffee maker, mini fridge or ice maker you are out of luck. Not sure why they would think all of their guests would want to walk or drive somewhere for a cup of coffee instead of having that an option in the room let alone not being able to have a few food or drinks cold since you do not have a mini fridge. They will eventually have red light therapy if that's your jam.

Understandably the hotel is undergoing a major renovation, can’t wait to see the finished product.

The room got pretty warm at night, even with the air conditioning going.

Construction going on made it a bit inconvenient

En la reserva ponía que estaba incluído el desayuno. He estado en este hotel antes, y efectivamente incluyó desayuno (pan, huevos, salchichas...) pero en esta ocasión no fue así. Dijeron que no tenían cocina y pusieron una jarra de café y unas barritas, pero veo inadecuado poner que el desayuno está incluido cuando realmente no es así, sobretodo en comparación con otras veces en las que me he alojado.

The property is under construction. There is almost no parking. The pool is closed for renovations which wasn’t listed. Breakfast was suppose to be included, however there wasn’t a breakfast at all, so that information is incorrect. There was no microwave no fridge no coffee maker etc in the room, so if you are expecting that it’s not there. You have to go to the lobby to get ice. These set of rooms were an exterior entrance so if that is an issue pick somewhere else. It is On a busy corner across from college(not an issue for us, we wanted to be right by the school) just a heads up for parents with small children.

The remodeled new rooms are definitely not updated on booking.com website.
Overall disappointed with booking.com lots of incorrect information.

Your advertising sucks!!! No mention of renovation. We didn't have a refrigerator or microwave, there was only access to ice the last day. Also, we stayed because it said full breakfast, that was a lie!!! Wasn't happy with the whole situation, would have moved if we could have gotten our money back. Oh and no desk or dressers to set suitcases on and the sink we could not put both of our things for the bathroom on because it was so small. Curtain was not hooked at the top so light came in and workers were there on Friday morning bright and early.

The hotel is under construction, no indication of this was given when booking or in an email prior to arrival. Due to works being done there was no breakfast, and the pool and fitness centre were not available for use. Therefore there was nothing as advertised, just a room. There was no adjustment in price to reflect the fact that these basic facilities were not available. This is my second stay at the property and while it wasn't perfect last time, it was at least as advertised. I can't believe that this was deemed an acceptable way to deal with having paying customers use the property while it is under construction, there should have been some advance warning and a change in price to reflect the fact that there was no breakfast (fruit and dry crackers behind the desk if you requested them) and no pool or fitness centre. On my last visit the breakfast included small yoghurts, pastries/bagels and individual jams etc, there is absolutely no reason why these small items couldn't have been provided in the current state of the lobby. I won't stay here on my next trip to Fort Collins.
