It is very convenient, in a small town. and there are gas stations and restaurants. The hotel provides free breakfast and parking. The staff are very nice.
Unfortunately, my room is on the street. It was so noisy when the cars went by. It was really unbearable for me because I couldn't get a good sleep at night.
Nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel à 21 h pour effectuer notre check-in et ce n’est qu’à ce moment-là que nous avons été informés d’une coupure d’eau chaude et d’électricité. Une information aussi importante aurait dû nous être communiquée bien avant notre arrivée.
Les deux solutions proposées étaient, selon nous, totalement inacceptables :
* Rester dans une chambre sans électricité et devoir se doucher à l’eau froide, alors que la température extérieure avoisinait les 10 °C, en échange d’une réduction de seulement 25 %.
* Trouver par nos propres moyens un autre hôtel situé à une heure de route, en nous laissant gérer seuls l’ensemble de l’organisation et de la réservation.
Si l’établissement était informé de ces coupures avant notre arrivée, pourquoi ne pas nous avoir prévenus par téléphone ou via la messagerie Booking.com ? Ce manque de communication nous a placés dans une situation particulièrement inconfortable, à une heure tardive, sans solution adaptée.
Nous estimons qu’il appartenait à l’hôtel de prendre ses responsabilités et de proposer une solution concrète à ses clients, notamment en organisant lui-même un hébergement alternatif approprié si les conditions ne permettaient pas de nous accueillir normalement. Se justifier en expliquant ne pas être une agence de voyages (« travel agent ») ne répond en rien au problème et ne saurait justifier un tel manque de prise en charge.
En résumé, cette expérience a été marquée par un manque total d’anticipation, de communication et de considération pour les clients. Nous ne reprochons pas nécessairement à l’établissement une panne indépendante de sa volonté, mais bien sa manière de la gérer : aucune information préalable, aucune solution réellement satisfaisante et des clients laissés à eux-mêmes à 21 h. C’est cette absence de professionnalisme dans la gestion de la situation qui rend notre expérience particulièrement décevante.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant also did dinner. The food and choice was very good. Would most definetly recommend and would stay here again.

Breakfast was great and we had dinner one night of our stay that was very good! Loved the old fashion, rustic feel of the hotel overall. Most newer hotels. all look the same. Loved the lobby with the beautiful painted murals etc.
