Ramada by Wyndham Harrisburg/Hershey Area

Was run down, pool area was dirty old band aids on the ground, way to much chlorine eyes burn just sitting in pool room. Everything in this building needs to be updated. Located in the same parking lot as a condemned restaurant with shady folks smoking and drinking on the roof. Broken down cars and trucks all around the building. Looks like a run down ghetto.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance were very disappointing. The in-room jacuzzi tub had dirty residue coming from the jets, and the washcloth was filthy after I tried cleaning it myself, so we couldn’t use the tub. The lobby smelled strongly like sewage, there were no towels in our room when we arrived, and the freezer was iced over and unusable. Overall, the hotel did not appear to be well maintained, and it did not meet the expectations for the room rate.

Also hiring others who understand and speak English it’s hard to get your needs met because of the language barrier that’s not fair to the workers or guest. The workers try the best they can but it’s frustrating enough to deal with uncleanliness then to have to keep explaining what’s wrong it’s frustrating as hell honestly! Requested a bed be changed because hair nets aren’t worn when changing the linen so their hair is all over the sheets and every thing .I kid you not it took them bout two pairs to find a clean pair due to stains and when they did the guy threw his cell phone on the bed while making it up . My tv never worked in my room thankgod I brought my laptop . Requested clean towels that never came went to purchase some from Walmart and used there towels for the floor to get out of the shower . My husband and I had separate rooms so our daughters were in my room and he had our boys went to the car my room door stopped working of course he wasn’t comfortable with that went to the front desk at first they told him he’d have to wait until morning (what if that was our only room ?) they ended up changing the batteries. But it happened more than once again pleasant staff but they need serious training on cleaning man and language🤦🏾‍♀️

It was old and needs updating and could be cleaner

The staff telling us we can't stay no more then 1 or 2 days starting next year, wasn't happy we go every year for 6 nights, not happy with how they treat us, when we come every year, we want to stay a week cause we go to Hershey park 4 or 5 times while were there

Did not particularly care for the eggs. They were like bland and prefabricated

The hall carpet was being cleaned as we went to our room and for much of the afternoon and evening - had to step over bucket and cords. Bathroom was moldy and had evidence of previous guest :(. Breakfast serving containers with hot food in them were missing handles to open them. There was no attendant to wipe off tables with spills from previous guests.

I feel like the lady at the front desk when I was checking out was rude and not in a happy, friendly mood

Low effort is put into the hotel itself. The pool bathroom was atrocious and when it was brought up to the staff attention, nothing was done about it.

The sofa bed mattress was all ripped and all stained up. We had to request housekeeping to clean the room and this was not related to us during the check in process. We were gone all day we were super tired and came back to a room without changed towels or garbage taken out. No housekeeping was done. Things were left on the room from the prior customers.
