A nice mid-priced motel on Route 66
Pros:

This is a nice mid-priced motel in Holbrook, Arizona. The rooms are extra large and the Internet is incredibly fast. I walked to a great Italian restaurant nearby and had a very nice overnight stay on my Route 66 journey.

Can’t wait to check out.
Pros:

The room odor is overwhelming. It’s either scented laundry detergent or old linens that need to be replaced. The smell is unbearable. Can’t wait to get out of here. Houses where elderly lived and died have this similar horrible smell. You can’t cover up one odor by using another. You need to replace mattresses and linens. Wash the walls and paint.

Cons:

There were no ground floor rooms available. I have problems with both knees and had a very difficult time getting up the steps. The top stair was too narrow to step on safely. I could only get off the stairs with the help of my husband.
This is our second bad experience in a row with this motel. We won't stay here again.

I requested a ground floor room in advance and didn’t get it my wife has a handicap which made it difficult for her and me
