Most Best Westerns aren't so thoroughly mediocre.
Pros:

(To begin: We stay at Best Westerns whenever possible for consistent cleanliness and professionalism.)

The BW Mission inn:
The lobby/office/breakfast restaurant bldg is nice, maybe from the late 50s / early 60s?

• Rooms are mediocre overall. No single mediocre example stands out. But they were clean, and if price is your primary requirement; it's pretty cheap.

• Service @ front desk is disinterested.

• Meals = breakfast. It was as bare-minimum quality as possible every day, and didn't change during our stay.

• We didn't notice it has a 2-star rating on Google. Oops.

• We'll look at the competition next time: There are plenty.

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the graciousness of the staff and wonderful breakfast.
Pros:

We loved the vintage charm and that the property is well maintained despite its age.

Cons:

There were some random mechanical sounds (we were in room 110) coming from within the walls that we couldn’t figure out but we got used to it. It’s an old building.

Not bad for the price
Pros:

For the price, you can’t go wrong. The staff were very friendly and the rooms are very comfy. The hotel is pet friendly and the breakfast was decent enough. The fews things that kept me from giving it 5 stars were the following:

The AC is very loud

The room, while being very clean, had an odor from the cleaning agent they use

The shower is very temperamental, it took a few minutes to dial the water. It was either very hot or cold and to find the right balance was a juggling act

The pool is closed from Oct to April, it was 103 when we stayed so the pool would have been nice.

The beds were not the best but for the price I was not expecting the best mattress.

Aside from the above mentioned, it was well worth the cost. We were there for the Bataan Death March and if you are looking at this hotel, just be advised it is about a 30-40 drive to the base.

I would stay again.
Pros:

Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was beautiful, comfortable, and parking close to room.

Cons:

Parking lot needs repaving. Pavement is really torn up, which can be dangerous, especially for people with disabilities or blindness.
