HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Booked stay here online. Called motel in early afternoon to let them know we would be a late check-in. At check-in, we were told they had “mistakenly” given our room to someone else. There were no more rooms available and the vast majority of rooms in the community were booked due to a cae show. After an hour, they found us another room in another motel that cost us an additional $150. Motel is refusing to pay the $150. Called main BW customer number and they told me motel hasn’t responded! Stay Away!!!

We stayed in the tub sweet… the fan on low speed was so loud the tv needed to be so loud to hear. Also no phone in room to ask question about remote and staff said well the phone they had constantly beeped so they just took out. And didn’t know that smoking gazebo was right out our front door.

Easy access and check-in process

My family’s road trip got derailed due to our car breaking down. We originally had a reservation at another best western. The Roseburg location was so kind and helped us arrange everything and get the booking moved. The staff asked about us multiple times to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. The woman running the continental breakfast was above and beyond. She even got out more food as we were late to breakfast and helped me juggle plates as I served my kids. We have a medically fragile child with us and they helped us get back on track with our trip. The room was clean and staff was great 10/10

We arrived at the Best Western Garden Villa on our motorcycles, hot, tired, and about 50 minutes earlier than expected. All we wanted was to get into some air conditioning. The front desk clerk said she would “see if there was a room available,” but instead of simply checking us in, we were charged $25 for being less than an hour early, which felt unwelcoming.

The biggest issue was the room’s cleanliness. The floors were filthy, gritty, and clearly not cleaned. After taking off my boots and walking briefly across the room, the bottom of my socks turned black — something I didn’t even notice until six days later when I got home and did laundry. I also walked barefoot from the bed to the bathroom twice, and the bottom of my feet were black afterward requiring me to clean them before getting into bed. With floors that dirty, I could only assume — and hope — that the bed sheets had actually been changed.

The front desk staff didn’t offer any warmth or hospitality. They handled the basics, but there was no personality or sense of welcome, which stood out even more after a long ride in the heat.

There were a few positives:
- Breakfast was good
- Pool was refreshing
- Grocery store nearby for snacks
- Good Mexican restaurant in the same strip mall
- Two gas stations next door, making morning fuel-up easy
- Quick freeway access, convenient for travelers

But even with those positives, the cleanliness issues, the early check‑in fee, and the lack of genuine customer service made this a disappointing stay. I will not stay here again.

The pool was nice, although dated. The room was very clean.

First problem we had was when the person that was being trained said our room number out loud in front of other guest and it was just me(female) and my daughter and son. Second our room floor was dirty we were not able to walk barefoot because our feet got so dirty, our shower did not drain very good so every time we took a shower the tub would fill up all the way up to our ankles.

Did not eat because ur fire alarm went off at12:22 at night so we got up and left and 1:00AM. We arrived at 1:00 nd they charged us $30.00 extra for easy check in but our room was ready. Why would they charge if a room is available. Makes no sense.
