Inn at Joshua Tree

Staff was very friendly but the ac in our room wasn’t working properly, the bathtub wasn’t draining well and the sheets had yellow stains on them. The location is great if you are planning to visit Joshua Tree National Park but other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it.

All the staff were great and the included breakfast was better than I expected. The 24 hour check-in came in handy. For what it was, it was a great option.

Parking is safe. Desert is trying to take over the back end of the parking lot but am sure with the winds here that is a constant battle.

Room was clean

This hotel is a total dump. I promise you no one should visit or come to this hotel, except for the health department. It needs to be condemned, shut down and remodeled completely from the ground up. It’s a total total mess. There’s pigeon crap all over the place all over the doors all over the stairs all over the stair railings the rooms are nasty. There’s feathers everywhere screens falling off the windows. This place is atrocious. I wouldn’t even let my grandmother stay here.

Excellent staff, great breakfast, quiet. Much better once we checked in, outside of hotel a work in progress but very happy with room, breakfast, staff help, convenient location.

Check in was easy. Staff person was knowledgeable, friendly & fast. Room is nice & clean. Quiet.

The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, but the property is quite rundown and needs renovations: stairwells, grounds, etc.

Our hotel room was dirty and had an awful smell to it. We had a ozone machine in the room that made alot of noise to sleep in. While looking for outlets to plug in our devices, we moved a chair in the room, which we found a pile of dirty linens and blankets. The pool was green and had an awful smell to it. The whole pool area had caution tape around it. Overall I will never stay at this Sure stay.

The staff was great. Cons: no elevators, sink drains slowly, no USB ports in our room..pool was green. Door to room had a large gap at bottom. No easy access to our room..steep stairs..there was a ramp but it was far from the rooms door.

We absolutely love our stays here. We always return because it's always clean, never had any issues. Our microwave didn't work and we got upgraded to a bigger room without any issues or hassles. Everyone of the staff members are great, friendly, and super helpful.

Crazy guests, plumbing issues and unhelpful front desk workers

Staff is absolutely amazing. I had stayed here couple of different time and never had any issues. Check in took me all of two minutes. Check out even less. Anything we needed the staff had no problem helping with. Will definitely be staying here again and ONLY here if they aren’t booked completely.

The room had visitors I didn’t want to take home with me. That problem needs to be worked on.

Our room was a mess. Trash under the bad, dirty socks, cockroaches. Spa had a chair inside and was closed off. Breakfast quality was horrible. One of our rooms didn’t have any shampoo or conditioner.

Stayed at this hotel for proximity to the Marine Corps base and the amenities they offered. (These were primarily hot breakfast and pool+hot tub.) These two were terrible quality however. The hot tub was closed off and neglected with a chair inside of it. The breakfast was disgusting. Cold and stale potatoes. Excessive wet powdered eggs.
On top of all of this, our room was disgusting. There was cockroaches, trash and dirty socks under the bed, made no effort to ensure the shampoo and conditioner were full.
Went through Expedia to seek compensation for this experience and they refused to take any accountability. Would highly recommend staying away from this location.

Did run into questionable people while at the pool who conveniently forgot their key to get in which was uneasy since I was traveling with my child but otherwise stay was great. Front desk was very nice and helpful every time I went in. Breakfast was great everyday and not crowded. Beds were comfortable, slept great. No complaints. Very close to grocery store if you need snacks. Recommend if in the area.

I woke up in the middle of the night because I felt sonething crawling on me I turn t light in at it was two roaches in my bed it was so disturbing I had to sleep in my car after that
