They really should improve their breakfast game

Its a good five star hotel but our stay was unlike last year when we stayed here, under staff specially at the breakfast Shamiana, literally only one person taking order and cleaning the table aswell, 1st day we didn’t have hot water 2nd day we had no water at all, they had some problem but still ruined our experience and they didn’t even offer anything to compensate. Breakfast was not like a five star level, only a few varieties. We have stayed in many five stars this one this time did not live up to its standards

Horrible service. Bad location. Small airport business kind of hotel. No Taj luxury.

Cons:

A particular staff member called Anshika was rude disrespectful and has absolutely no clue what is she doing in the hospitality business with that unprofessional outlook in life. She is high headed, rude, unprofessional and Mr. Ashutosh from the top management apparently thinks she is a star !
Our feedback about this lady’s conduct was not paid any heed to and we actually had to book another hotel and left this one mid trip. Wasted our time and money !

Such a poor experience
Pros:

We wanted to really write here but we were not given that space

Cons:

1. I booked a room with city view which is the superior king room, when I arrive at 11am, your team member says, that she will upgrade the room to a balcony room with the view, while the view was some construction site which we never asked for…
2. The room seating was congested with a chair that even when we had to speak, we had to sit like we came for some business meeting…
3. I raised a special request, you guys came up telling you will do the balloon decor and send a cake. I replied to the email stating clearly that it is a surprise. However your team clearly asks the same infront of the person whom I wanted to surprise asking if we could wait for the arrangements to be done. We never expected this from Taj team…
4. Hygiene was soo poor. Bathrobes, bed and floor had hair strands..
5. Food came warm not hot ..

We never expected such a poor stay with Taj and this never will let me recommend taj to our friends and family.
I visit taj atleast twice a month for lunch or dinner, assuming this place will be nice to even stay n relax with family was not the right decision we made.
do you think we had to pay AED 365 just for 8 hours.. rather we could have stayed at home..
