Relaxing ocean views from hotel on the cliffs.
Pros:

The Inn on the Cove is located on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We were on the upper floor, where there was an overhanging balcony with a table and two chairs. We were able to keep our sliding door open and the sliding screen door closed, to let in fresh air and to hear the sound of the sea crashing into the rocks below. There are sliding louvered doors too, so you can slide those across the area where the screen door is to let in air but block the hot sun.

The breakfast says continental, but there were premade eggs, scrambled and hard boiled, sausage, bagels, yogurt, some fruit, coffer, tea et al offered.

The grounds are nicely kept, there are a couple of overlooks on the cliffs, a pool and a hot tub, although the hot tub, which we did not use.

The location is perfect to visit Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo and even Cambria and The Hearst Castle if you are willing to drive a bit over and hour. Wine country is about an hour inland, depending on which winery you may want to visit.

Peaceful, beautiful and perfect location!

My FAVORITE place to stay on the central coast!!!
Pros:

Gorgeous location! Amazing staff! (especially Martin!!!) fabulous view, amazing breakfast buffet!!! Loved my stay. Third time. New ownership has improved the inn!

Perfect location.
Pros:

We liked it so much the first time we stayed while heading up to Monterey, we stayed again on the was back home.
I would plan a vacation just to stay and relax here for a couple days.
