Inn at the Cove

The location is excellent, with beautiful walking paths and lounging areas on the cliff above the ocean. It’s also an 8 min walk to an excellent restaurant. They had a free wine tasting (Thursday night) with a singer/guitarist who was absolutely first rate. And the noon checkout allowed us to enjoy the stay a bit longer!

Our room how to spectacular view of the Pacific. The property is extremely well-maintained, very clean and the staff are very friendly and supportive for any of your needs. Martin and Sylvia were very helpful.

We loved our spacious room with dramatic ocean views. We especially appreciated the complimentary yoga class on Saturday morning outside on the grass overlooking the ocean! We appreciated the complimentary happy hour wine from 4-5 and the breakfasts. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub especially at night while gazing at the stars. We loved the grounds in general with the swinging chairs and the private beach. We appreciated being able to walk to the Pismo Preserve to go hiking and being able to walk to the pier and restaurants.

We've stayed at the Inn at the Cove every time we visit the area, which is about twice a year, and it never disappoints! The property is always clean and welcoming, the breakfast is great, and of course, the ocean views are absolutely amazing.
We always look forward to our stays and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

We had a great stay starting with a very efficient and friendly check-in by Martin and the staff at the front desk. We loved our room - all rooms face the ocean from what we could tell. There was a wine tasting at check in and a hot breakfast, including eggs, sausage, a waffle station, bagels, cereal and more. The property has access to a path that goes to a beach and a Sea Caves and kayak tour. It has a gazebo that looks out to the ocean as well as large two-person rocking chairs with awnings. Very relaxing and family friendly vibe. We hope to visit again!

We liked the walkways that you can walk down to the beach with. We’d liked the Adirondack chairs overlooking the cliff. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel has been an amazing value for an ocean front luxury room. Martin from Peru has been like having a private " Butler " just amazing attention to our family.

My Mom and I had such an amazing time here. 10/10! I will definitely stay here again. We were doing a few day trip from Santa Barbara up to the elephant seals. We were so warmly welcomed upom our checkin by Martin, who also gave us a whole list of ideas for mini trips to do the next day. The double room we had downstairs, 405, was so perfect, with a direct view of the cove. We appreciated the wine tasting on Thursday night. The breakfast was way better than a normal continental breakfast. Tip for good takeaway dinner nearby that we also received: The Green Olive mediterranean inside a liquor convenience store just like a half a mile up the side road.
