The staff was fantastic and the rooms and overall facility was clean.
Unfortunately we were on the side of the building that was right on 3rd avenue. Which meant, every day at 5am we were woken up by the traffic. The personal driving to the base for that morning shift is very fond of motorcycles, muscle cars and modifying their vehicles to sound louder than stock, combined with their poor driving skills this made for a VERY noisey 5am. I would suggest that the property owner invest in some sound proof windows on that side of the building, or if you decide to stay here, ask for a room on the north east side of the property. Unless a 5am wake up call is what you are looking for.
Location and breakfast were really good.
The property was beautiful, located very close to the beach.
The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast personal. At 9:00 sharp they locked us in and told us we needed to get out? Excuse me? If I get there around 9 and I start having breakfast I would probably stay about 20 minutes to eat. At 8:45 there was no food left and I find that un acceptable since it was supposed to end at 9:00. It’s ok to serve till 9:00 but don’t ask people to get out while eating, that is just wrong. Very poor service.

Bed was comfy but the pillows were a bit too puffy. Would be nice to have a variety of pillows for use
This hotel is in a perfect location for restaurants and shopping in Coronado. Parking under the hotel was free. Bed was very comfortable. It was a short walk to the landing with a beautiful view of downtown San Diego.
Carpet was a bit dated and worn.
