I'd stay there again
Pros:

Staff are all brilliant, really friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the airport. Lots of choice for breakfast. It's easy to access Downtown from the hotel and the team on the desk will arrange private tours to Niagara Falls. Obviously the location is great for the airport, with a free shuttle bus

Honestly disappointing !
Pros:

Moderate at best airport hotel. Airport shuttle service only runs every 30mins and not clear where to wait if arriving into the airport. Check in and check out cabin crew prioritised. Hotel seems to cater for cabin crew and passengers on delayed flights ( we were neither.)

Despite being IHG members no water in the room so trips back and forth with paper cups at 11pm. Cannery ok at best and breakfast was ok. AC in room but very very loud and switches on and off frequently and loudly. Construction in parking lot next door was noisy from 8ish am. I would not recommend this hotel unless no other options!

Packed shuttle bus and booking cancelled without notification, frustrating experience
Pros:

It is close to the airport. The room service and breakfast buffet were good. The bed was comfy.

Cons:

We waited 20 minutes at the airport for the hotel shuttle. We were one of the first in line, but had 4 suitcases. The worker did not have any organiziation and we couldn't keep up with everyone else rushing forward. We ended up taking a taxi for $42 across the road to the hotel, which was a bit frustrating as the shuttle is supposed to be included. When booking the room, we chose the option online to pay in cash when we arrive to the hotel. I had my Canadian card on the booking, which is never used as we live in Australia. When we arrived to the Crowne, the worker (who was not very friendly) told us that our booking was cancelled because they tried to charge the card and it declined. We were supposed to pay in person on the day we arrived, so they should not have tried to charge my card, but either way they never sent an email or contacted me before just cancelling our booking. Thankfully there were rooms available. All in all, a very frustrating stay and we would not come back.
