Fantastic location, but the hotel feels tired and doesn´t meet the standard expected of a 4-star
Pros:

Excellent seafront location within walking distance of the town centre. Despite the busy road outside, the room was quieter than expected, which we really appreciated.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations of a 4-star property. Breakfast was disappointing, with a limited selection and unnecessary confusion regarding the breakfast charges. We also noticed an unusual table setup, with tea cups placed right on the edge/corner of the tables, causing several guests to accidentally knock them onto the floor.

The hotel felt dated overall. The wall-to-wall carpets were uneven in places and looked worn, the bathroom had a noticeable damp smell, and features such as separate hot and cold taps and a pull cord for the bathroom light made the room feel outdated. Overall, the standard of the rooms and facilities was significantly lower than we had expected from a hotel of this rating.

Categorically the worst night’s attempted sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed. The ‘mattress’ was older than me.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, stickig und es war nicht möglich das Fenster richtig zu öffnen. Das Badezimmer ist uralt und ohne komfort wie das ganze Zimmer.

Yes, it was pleasant
Pros:

My room had a wonderful view the receptionist when I checked in was helpful and tried to get me in the best room available for me at that time. I like the lounges it’s easy as a solo traveller.

Cons:

Too hot in the room even with two fans. At breakfast I sat in the smaller room for some peace as it was be noisy the night before with the kids running around anyhow the waitresses decided to clear the table and make them ready for dinner and we’re banging around and all the time no one bothered to clear my table of the dirty dishes until I asked that’s really my only fault in the hotel in my stay They were too busy chatting away amongst themselves

Good quality hotel
Pros:

Great location, helpful staff.

Cons:

The downstairs is lovely and luxurious. It felt like it got less luxurious the more floors you went up.
Bedrooms were basic and did the job. Was incredibly hot and due to the great location, not the quietest.

Pros:

Lovely welcome and reception downstairs lounge area . Breakfast was good .great location.

Cons:

The beds-mattress needs replacing . There is a huge dip /hole that makes it uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathrooms are outdated and smell of urinal. The staff at the bar should keep the volume down and not talk about personal matters behind the bar.
