A one night stay in the perfect location with a comfy bed and a good breakfast.
Pros:

Location excellent opposite sea front and Theatres a three minute walk away
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, hot food was hot, good variety of continental , tea and coffee.

Cons:

The room was cold and could have benefited from a blanket in the cupboard if required.
The 'pull up knob' on the mixer tap to switch from bath tap to shower didn't work just came loose. Had to have a bath !!

I paid for a sea view but got a side view of scaffolding around a building. Disappointed as I've had lovely rooms before with sea view.

Pros:

The hotel has numerous sitting rooms, which are all comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The restaurant can accommodate a large number of guests with a separate area for those with dogs. The staff are all friendly and efficient. The bedrooms are well appointed.

Simply a great weekend break.
Pros:

Excellent hotel, friendly and professional staff, good breakfast, lovely room very clean and tidy with superb sea view.

Cons:

The tiniest thing, no nuts or seeds available to go with the porridge or cereal, very minor!

I had a relaxing enjoyable stay with people talking to me even though I was travelling alone.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable (I was a single traveller); breakfast had plenty of choices and was available for good period of time; the location to beach and town was great. Lunch and dinner menu was excellent and really tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for them

Cons:

Not having a bar menu available in the room was inconvenient as I’m not a “scan the square’ person.
The TV reception was pretty poor in my room and I’ve never had a TV without the option to just choose a number for the station you want.
When I arrived I had long life SOYA milk available in the room as requested but then had to contact Reception for it every other day. No-one ever refused me but it was a nuisance to have to ask.

Lovely hotel in a good position.
