A very pleasant stay for myself and little dog.
Pros:

An excellent position for an easy walk into Ripon. Lovely garden to walk around, and very importantly, dog friendly.

Cons:

The lift was unbelievably slow.

Lovely place to stay but limited parking
Pros:

Great location walking distance into Ripon, beautiful gardens, very clean.

Cons:

We couldn’t get a parking space when we arrived which we hadn’t even expected. Fortunately we were able to move the car later.
The main downside was the heat. During the hot weather the room was unbearably hot and there was a heavy winter quilt. There was a fan (and we took a second and fortunately a sheet) but not enough so we didn’t get a great nights sleep

A great hotel, in a great location with good food and friendly staff.
Pros:

The Ripon Inn's location to the centre of Ripon is great. Just a 10 minute walk to the Market Square. The Ripon Inn has a great public bar with plenty of seating, including a great outside veranda overlooking the large garden. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Our room was located at the front of the hotel and was nice and quiet.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

It was good enough for us to consider returning another time
Pros:

Comfortable room with lovely view of the gardens. Location was great for getting into the town centre. Good menu for the evening meal which we both enjoyed alfresco.

Cons:

At breakfast, we both tried the full english, but were a little disappointed. There were no boiled eggs, just fried and scrambled. Also there was no mustard available, which I consider a must with black pudding and sausages.
