Nice hotel with great staff
Pros:

The Ripon Inn is a lovely building, well situated for the city. The food is very good, especially breakfast. The staff were exemplary and couldn't do enough for you. Some reviews seem to criticise the parking arrangements, but if you register your car at reception, there's no issue.

Cons:

Our room was not the largest we've had and it was on the top floor, which meant that if you are carrying luggage, you need to use the slowest lift you've ever seen!

Pros:

Very good location for the town centre and surrounded by greenery, a lovely garden at the back and a park/sports area across the road at the front. Friendly staff and good food but service a little slow from time to time as staff trying to cover too many jobs at once. Good car park

Cons:

Nothing

Great, relaxed place to stay for a couple of nights, and can even take your furry friends along too
Pros:

How clean and well kept the property was (with it being dog friendly I was thinking it would be ‘tired’ in places - it wasn’t!)

Cons:

Car parking was a bit tight
