Lovely staff, but some freshening up of the room needed.

The staff were very friedly and accommodating. The location was convenient.

Cons:

I was put in one of the gate house rooms as there was an issue with hot running water in the hotel. While the room itself was nice, it wasn't very clean. I don't think these rooms are used regularly and the towels and bedding had a musty smell. There were stains on the bed clothes and the floor also could have benefited from a hoover.

Gorgeous hotel , friendly , professional staff and amazing food !
Pros:

The hotel was in a fantastic location and was decorated to a very high standard. Our room was modern and comfortable and was equipped with everything you needed.The staff were amazing , very professional and helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. The stand out of our stay at this hotel was the food it was delicious and of a high restaurant quality. We had lunch , evening meal and breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection and really tasty. The fact you got a three course meal as part of the dinner bed and breakfast package was really good value and the food was unbelievable.
Another genius idea was the ice machine and the milk fridges on the corridors. You were able to have a cold drink in your room instead of it being warm. Plus if you needed more milk for hot drinks which you always do , you could get mini bottles of milk . I've never seen this at a hotel before it was brilliant !

Cons:

Even though the bed was comfy, the pillows were way too soft and not supportive at all. I woke up with a sore neck in the morning. I prefer a firmer pillow.
We paid for access to the spa and this is the first hotel I think we've stayed at where you have to pay to use the leisure facilities. Considering it's a four star hotel of such a lovely standard this should definitely be included in the Stay price . It was £10 each so it cost myself and my husband £20 for both of us which is excessive. We were quite disappointed once in there as there was no jacuzzi. The pool area was clean and it did have a steam room and sauna but we felt that the £20 it cost us to get in there was not worth it.

Loved the Hotel and everything about it. Message the bride and groom for photos. Stunning.
Pros:

Lovely. Food was amazing and hot. Staff were very and polite helpful. Very was extremely clean. Down side. The hall where we held the wedding, was very cold and we had to ask for the heating to be put on.
All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.
10/10 . Very nice.

Nice wedding venue but expensive

Cons:

Bar prices are appalling £6 for a pint of carlsberg £5.20 for one shot, baths all have showers in but no foot grips so very slippy when showering
