Friendly staff and convenient location. Building is old and overpriced compared to many hotels.
Pros:

The girl at the front desk was very kind and informative. It is right down the road from our venue, so it's extremely convenient. The facility was clean.

Cons:

We only had two towels for an entire weekend. Overpriced for the age of the building and amenities. On the breakfast bar, the waffle batter was either super runny or so thick that it took forever to get out of the container.

Would recommend for an overnight stay
Pros:

Room was convenient for our trip. Staff was polite. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Cons:

Tubs were very slippery - clean but slippery. Mattress cover wasn't deep enough to stay on all night unless you aren't a person who doesn't roll over during the night.

I'm not sure if I would stay here again due to the strong iron taste and smell of the water.
Pros:

The hot breakfast was good.

Cons:

Good location with respect to access from the highways, but close enough that highway noise was loud within the room. The water from the sink in the room had a very strong iron taste and smell.

Not much! But the breakfast and the location of hotel fit our needs.

Cons:

Being locked out of the room. Not having enough towels or even clean towels daily. The trash wasn't even picked up cause they never came to clean room. The room is in desperate need of some good workman's ship. The rooms are not worth the price. They also over charged my bank account by $200. Had to show my reservation agreement to get my change. Was told that two doubles was more than a king size bed.

Rooms are not connected to the main lobby with food, etc., slippery parking lots, dangerous steps ,floors were very slippery steps were very slippery if you stayed on the second floor you had a dangerous time walking up and down. bathroom was very bad shape paint coming off the wall, no heat in the room upon arrival and then after warming the room up, it got very humid and the floors were sweating making them slippery also.

I wouldn’t choose to stay there again unless the weather was good.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, though the decor was somewhat dated.

Cons:

The doors open to the outside and there are two stories. We had to stop because of blizzard conditions and there was a lot of snow and ice to trudge through. The outdoor stairs and landing were really slippery.

Clean, quiet, modern and reasonably priced
Pros:

Stayed here for three nights in early December of 2025. The first thing I noticed was how clean and modern the lobby was, everybody behind the desk was really friendly and eager to help. After a quick and easy check in we went to the room and found it to be equally clean and modern. This is one of those places where you park your car right in front of the door to your room. I wish more hotels were still like this, no walking down hallways and through the lobby to get to your car or to go someplace. Speaking of going someplace, this hotel is surrounded by restaurants (sit down and drive thru) and grocery stores, gas stations and a movie theater. The hotel sits right next to the freeway so it’s convenient, but far enough away that I never heard any traffic while in the room. The bed was comfortable, the tv large, and there was a medium sized refrigerator in the room. If you are looking for a clean, friendly, convenient, reasonably priced hotel I would recommend the Best Western in Hartland.
