Complimentary breakfast was actually decent!
Juice offered at breakfast wasn't good. But not a big deal.
The cleanliness and the location
Excellent staff, great location, good breakfast
Nothing
Good location. Beds were comfortable. Fairly clean rooms. Staff was kind.
Looks super outdated, especially as you walk through and outside the premises. Needs an upgrade. It would be beautiful if it was upgraded. Wish there was room service or some kind of small eatery open in the early evening to get food. Wifi should be secure with passwords too for safety reasons for guests.
Centrally located, super cute, easy to navigate
Cleaning was a little sub par, and the vending machines were out of order. Terrible water pressure and next to no hot water
I only liked the location.
It was more like a motel than a hotel
Location
Initial room assignment: room was filled with sheets from other rooms.
Parts of property were run down.
The only thing we liked was that it was near the New Hope Railroad.
I have no idea how anyone could give this place a high review. Our room was dirty with hair on the bed and in the bathtub. It stunk so bad like farts. The toilet lid was scratched with fecal matter ground in the scratches. The anti-skid mat was dirty in the shower. Do they have cleaning people? I slept horribly because the mattress was a lumpy mess; plus I had it in the back of my mind that the sheets perhaps had not been changed. Every single wall outlet was exceptionally loose and dirty. The wall switches and switch plates were dirty. The sink is outside the bathroom, and for someone trying to sleep, it's noisy to run the water. The spigot needs to be moved out an inch or two. You can't wash your hands because the water was spraying out fast and hitting the back of the sink. It splashed all over. We had to use a towel to wipe it down. The a/c was not great. The lighting was glaring LED bulbs. We were in room 111, which was on the first floor. It was convenient to the parking lot. However, the walls and ceilings must be made of balsa wood. You could hear every word people were saying as they noisily passed by. We heard a thumping bass from somewhere. You could hear peoples' clomping feet above us. We didn't even bother with breakfast. With how dirty the room was, we weren't risking it. For the price of this room, which was a lot ($249.75)!!!!, it was abyssmal. I'm seeing much lower rates for this place. Why were we charged so much? We'll never stay here again if in New Port. The front desk personnel didn't even ask us if we enjoyed our stay. Maybe they're told not to ask because they might receive negative feedback. Terrible place!
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was close to my work and historic New Hope, but quiet and peaceful. I wish the pool were open because that looked like a great feature.
The building and rooms are so run-down. The building was also disconnected and hard to navigate. The breakfast was awful; the food was overcooked and lacked healthy options. Flavored creamers would go a long way, too!
Not much to like
Rooms are terrible, old and carpeting is dirty, doors don’t close right, bathrooms are extremely small.
Breakfast was great, so much food to choose from!
My room was on the same level as the front desk and parking lot. It was convenient. Climate control in the room worked well. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing. Food was okay, not particularly visually appealing. There was a good selection of options, however.
All the outlets in my room were very loose. There was only one that supported a charger without falling out.
