Location was great, really enjoyed our stay, we will be back soon and hope next time is even better! Thanks to the staff being friendly
Check in was fine, room was nasty, the arm chair was not something I would put my luggage on, bathroom toilet was nasty, tub is chipped. You get what you pay for.
Absolutely disgusting. When we first walked in the heat was cranked to 85 and was so hot we had to keep our door open for some time, as well a used cup with water in it laying out still. The pillows had stains and burn holes in them, there was hair on the lights, the one light worked then in the morning no lights worked , the bathroom tub was stained, the water smelled and has a brown tint to it. Not in the room I stayed in but my family members room there were bed bugs. Everything was dirty and the pictures online look nothing like the rooms. Probably could go on and on but was beyond terrible and I do not recommend staying here. We paid 100$ a night what a rip off.
We booked this motel thru Air Miles, a Canadian rewards program. When we arrived, I went into the lobby to register and waited for 10 minutes for a desk clerk to show up. When he finally did, he smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and weed. He wore a frayed baseball cap and no identification tag and offered no apologies for his tardiness. He did not seem to know what he was doing as the sign-in process took 5-10 minutes and even then his initial coding of our door key failed. The exit door down the hall from our room was wide open and the hall was quite cold. When I commented to the desk clerk, he got up and shut the door with no apologies. The heater/AC in the room appeared to be 30-40 years old but did seem to function after a while. The room was fairly clean but numerous stains on the carpet and bedskirt and walls. No breakfast included, just bitter coffee. There were numerous sketchy looking characters hanging around the motel. I am not sure if they were residents or "buyers".
The only redeeming feature of this motel is that it is just by the interstate and there are numerous restaurants within the immediate area. DO NOT stay at this motel!! Definitely one of the worst I have ever seen and I have stayed in hotels in India, China and many other countries.
We had online reservations so i walked into the lobby to register and waited 10 minutes for the "desk clerk" to arrive smelling strongly of cigarette smoke and wearing a frayed baseball cap. It seemed like it was his first day on the job as it took him over 5 minutes to complete the registration process and even then we had to return to have our card keys re-programmed as the first ones did not open our door and even after all that only one of our 2 cards worked. Everything about the hotel screams dilapitated and regular home of druggies. The "back security door" was wide open when we arrived making the hall quite cold. The Heating/cooling unit in our room was so old it belongs in a museum. The room was carpeted but given the lack of general upkeep we kept our shoes on all the time while we were in there. I don't care how cheap it is, do not stay here.
I would not stay here again. There was absolutely NO hot water, none. The carpeting felt damp. Need I say more?
Staff was friendly, but the room smelled very musty, the bathroom door didn't shut because there was so much paint on it...the building and rooms are old and dated so even if clean they felt kind of gross. There was light shining in from surrounding restaurants and it was noisy..both from other rooms and outside activity.
The building is rundown and smells strongly of mildew. The stairs to the second floor are rusty and old ( there is no elevator). If it cost half what we paid, it still wouldn’t be worth it.
Good stay friendly staff quiet and comfortable
The location was easy to get to, and the neighborhood was fine. But our room was dirty, smelly, and definitely worn out. There were also several holes in the bed linen that appeared to be cigarette burns, in our “non-smoking” room.
This was an embarrassment for the company. We demand our nonrefundable money back.
Could have been cleaner could smell dog urine in hallways.
Very good experience as super pet friendly staff is extremely nice and courteous and very helpful in every aspect rights are a little high but they're well worth the price for the courtesy that you get
Would definitely recommend
This was the most disgustingly place/ lodge I have never seen. From you enter the lobby the place had a FOUL smell.. All the rooms that were shown to me were DIRTY, DUSTY, SMELLY and UNKEPT.
Supplies such as Linen were in shortage. We had to take our dirty towels to the main desk by 10AM to get clean ones.
Garbage were collected every 3 days.
Overall, my friends and I were very unsatisfied were our stay
Property too crowded with other businesses. You can see though, that they've tried to keep it up.
When i arrived it took some time before anyone came to the office to help me. A reservations was through an online group. When the attendant arrived he took no identification from me at all.
I was given the room key and told that the room was cleaned up and in a safe area. My room was between two groups that were outside with their pickup trucks. One had a group of 4 grilling from back of their truck, smoking by my door.and talking. Music was playing. The group on the other side had kids running around outside and their truck parked beside my door with their tailgate down with blankets in it like they were also sleeping in the back of truck.
I was very concerned but I entered my room (11) and found it clean but what appeared to have a bug trail on the sheet of one bed. I was on the phone with my husband as i was traveling alone and i told him i was not staying here. I felt very unsafe. The area had alot of trash around it and was very rundown and very dark and hidden behind another business.
Our mistake was booking and paying for this lodging in advance but it was affiliated with Wyndham which we have never before had a bad experience.
This property should NOT be listed on any reputable online lodging group. I left and I didnt even check out of this hotel because again there was noone at the registration desk. The man that helped me initially was very nice and worked alone in the separate building where check in was.
Cleanliness was OK, could be updated with painting, new carpeting. The bed comfort was terrible
We arrived at the property and had to hunt up the staff. (He was out back smoking.) We went down to the room and there was popcorn all over the floor. The sheets did smell clean but later we noticed there was mold, YES mold, on the legs of the desk. We were extremely disappointed. In the morning there was no breakfast, only coffee, with sweetened Coffee mate. Diabetics can’t/shouldn’t have sugar. I would not recommend this Travelodge to anyone. It’s probably the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. By the way, the hotel is located in between a Dairy Queen and Toco Bell. You literally drive into the parking lot of the DQ.
