Magnuson Hotel Howell

Suprised with having to have a credit card for a $50 deposit. TV didn't work, front staff was rude and very hard to understand. I left after 3hrs because i was totally disgusted with the hotel.
I actually would like my money back for this.

The front desk person was probably the most friendly clerk I have met in many years. Air conditioner worked fine. There was no breakfast of which I was aware. Bed was comfortable. Decor was nice, but the carpet should probably be replaced, since it was very worn. I would stay there again.

options for "convenient" outlets was minimum. Only one near beds. Had a metal ring cord holder attatched making it impossible tonise both plugins.

The location was good. Every thing we had planned was very central to the location. I will be booking again next year.

Nice older motel style accommodations. Rooms were dated but in nice condition, clean, comfortable, hot shower, working a/c, comfortable bed, nice towels, and very nice people working the office which I assume are the owners.

One thing that was uncomfortable, was the bed. It was squishy. If you sat on the edge you felt like you were sliding off.

Room smell really bad, we tried to stay but gave us headache, we asked to change rooms they disn't like but agreed. Shower water was very hot and wheb you try to change anything would stop working. Swimming pool was closed. Would not recommend, regret it but didn't have any other option.

This was a very pleasant stay for us. It is an older hotel, and the pool was out of commission (as listed). The room smelled a little bit too much like cleaning fluids, but other than that it was very clean and pleasant. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating, and they were understanding when the kids that were traveling with us dropped a box of muffins. The provided continental breakfast was modest but fresh, and we appreciated the very clean facilities. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Limited breakfast, no pool, had to change rooms to get AC, old lumpy bed, broken ice machine.

First room, air conditioning was set at 66, was very warm in the room. Went back to the front desk, was told it would kick in since the door was open. Made no sense to me, we hadn't even taken our luggage in yet. So we waited a bit and it didn't cool down, called the desk and was given a room right next door that was fine. The room was clean, bed was very soft and uncomfortable. Had booked two nights, next night the door key wouldn't work, had to go back to the front desk to get that working. No ice machine, they just give you a bag of ice if you ask. No extras at all, like not even a bag for dirty clothes. Wouldn't stay here again.

There was sh1t splatters on the inside of the toilet lid. Carpet needs to be shampooed badly, needs to provide real soap for hands and body.
