Todo, increíble lugar
Nada
Location was somehow good. Easy access to the NYC. Shuttle service could make more clear by clerk desk. I had to book uber many times..
Water pressure in showers were terrible low. Such a cheap management trying to save money on water . I dont know what kind of bussiness mentality is that. Indian bussiness owners trying to run bussiness like this is india .
Good value accommodation that was clean and comfortable. A bus stop was a 5-10min walk up road and takes you into NYC.
Close to my job since I stayed because of the snow storm.
I was double charged for a modified reservation and still not resolved despite explaining my situation. Initially reserved and booked one night through booking.com and after I modified the stay to a 2 night stay, the previous booking was not cancelled and I was charged a no show/cancellation fee despite staying for 2 nights and calling the hotel to explain the situation. If they have in the system that I did stay for 2 nights I think that should refund me the previous reservation of 1 night. I’m
still trying to resolve it after speaking with the hotel and booking.com’s customer service.
(cont from below) run on a schedule, even though he had just said that in his previous sentence. I requested manager information to reach out, which all he would provide was a general customer service email. I then waited an hour and a half for the 11:30, which never arrived, and I had to take a $50 uber to the hotel. The next morning out of curiousity I asked the lady at the front desk if she could give me details for the shuttle, she reiterated information from the original email provided by the hotel, that the shuttle runs hourly until midnight. There was no cleaning service and I had to hunt someone down for coffee. Service was Motel 6 level, not Wyndham Garden level. If you understand you will have $50 in uber costs each way on top of the cost of the room, and you are just there for one night to sleep, then the bed is quite comfortable.
The hotel is a 30+ minute drive from the airport, which while far I thought was workable due to the shuttle service. I emailed with them before my stay to double check the shuttle schedule (it runs limited times), as I had 2 pick up/drop off from the airport, due to a day trip to Chicago during my stay. Upon arrival the night of check in I called at approximately 11:05 (according to their shuttle schedule it runs until midnight), to which I was told the last shuttle just left for the night. After arguing with them for a bit, pointing out I emailed with them to double check the shuttle schedule as the hotel is quite far multiple times before my trip and have in writing it runs until midnight they eventually agreed to send someone. About 45 minutes later someone showed up in what seemed to be his personal vehicle to take me to the hotel. I had a meeting in Chicago the next day, so I was back to the airport, for which the shuttle showed up about 15 minutes late, and I nearly missed my flight (be advised this was at 9 am, the shuttle does not run early morning). Before leaving I confirmed with the front desk that the shuttle would be there around 11:15 to pick me up from the airport, due to the issues I had last night. The front desk person informed me that the shuttle runs hourly and the last one is at 11. I showed him the hotel email saying the shuttle runs until midnight, and he said he'd try to get it to come at 11:15 but no promises. On arrival at the airport in Chicago, the earlier flight had seats so I hopped on that one, arriving back to EWR at 10:05 pm. I called the hotel to find out when the next shuttle was arriving to which the front desk person said that I had to call before 10 pm to get a shuttle to pick me up at 10:30, but that he could send one at 11:30, as they run on a schedule. I said I was confused as this morning I was told they run hourly, and that I couldn't even get a shuttle as late at 11:30.
