Pros:

The staff from front desk to hospitality and the bar tender are top notch.

Cons:

The food staff could be a little more present but spoke to front desk about that. Hot water in shower was low and TV remote didn't work. Also the hangers were only for shirts and no trousers hangers exist in the hotel.

Not what I have come to expect from Aloft and the Marriott brand.
Pros:

The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

This was not your usual Aloft stay. The lobby was nice but that was where it ended. The elevators worked the first day but not the second. The hallways were very dark. The carpets in the hallways were extremely dirty and stained. The room was not Aloft clean and up to expectation. The rug in the room was dirty and the floors needed a good mop. The walls were dingy. The sink in our bathroom was cracked and looked to have been collecting dirt and grime in the cracks for a while. We booked for two nights. We only stayed one. The one night we did stay, we slept fully clothed on top of the bedding. Definitely not your typical Aloft experience. Disappointing. :(

Twlight Zone
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable and hotel was in a very safe neighborhood

Cons:

Once in the hotel the vibe was not my thing in the lobby area and the hallway to the room was like in the Tower of Terror walking into the Twlight Zone. It was the way the door and walls were painted.
